Help ***Official*** Status of your Droid X order thread

So i ordered in store on fri around 830 and the lady told me id recieve my x on this tuesday but i have yet to recieve any email of some sort. Im just praying it gets here tomorrow
 
So my X was supposed to arrive today according to FedEx, but since I had class all day today and tomorrow, I had to leave a note to FedEx telling them to leave it with my apartment manager. But I didn't realize the office closed so early (5pm), so now my X is locked up in the office just a few yards from my apartment! This is so painful! :(

Awwh I'm sorry. Mine came today at noon and I freakin LOVE it. You'll be happy. :)
 
My tracking information still hasn't updated. It looks like it's still sitting in Memphis...I hope it's wrong.

apparently everyone's tracking info is delayed. i haven't had an update since 4pm on saturday and my arrival date is today. we'll see what happens!
 
I just found out something that might pertain to somne of you guys.. our lost/delayed phone actually had TWO tracking numbers for some reason. I had to call fed ex to get the real scoop. On my tracking here, it shows NO movement for two days at all.. and that it went from it's origin, to most of the way here, and then back again.

On the second tracking label that they found at fed ex, it hit the local distribution center, and is out for delivery today!

So call them, and be persistant in finding out the information!

I spent about 4 hours setting up and tinkering with one of ours yesterday.. I'm a pretty happy camper with mine so far.
 
Now they say the tracking number I have is no good. let me ask everyone a question. If you ordered through telesales, how did you get your tracking number? Verizon says they can't provide me with one. Thanks
 
When I ordered yesterday I was told I could call the next day to get a tracking number. I haven't called yet though. When I ordered my original Droid through telesales they gave me the tracking number over the phone later that afternoon
 
Well, first they said it would ship on the 23rd. Now they say the 27th. Three days ago they gave me a tracking number. Now they say its no good. And they can't give me one till it ships. This is the worst CS experiences I have ever had. I will try to call again.
 
It now says it will ship by 8\3 on Verizons Website. WTF... I ordered mine around 11am on the 15th, and didn't process till' 10pm. Same storey as everyone else, but I bought this phone over the Incredible due to ZERO wait time, now it rolls out by the same time. Anyone order around the time I did and get ship conformations yet?
 
you would think that since I live less than 20 minutes from the headquarters of Motorola mines would be here by now. Admittedly though I did just order it yesterday...lol

Ordered 1PM on the 15th and order processed at 8PM in NY area. Multiple CSRs have indicated that those who ordered on 15th will be shipped by the 23rd. Those who ordered the 16th-19th by the 27th and after that by 8/3. I have seen several people in my area get shipping confirms. All depends on what part of the country you are in as well. Good luck I hope to get an ship confirm today......
 
Well I just called FedEx and she said it's still in Memphis about to catch a flight to California, but I should receive it tomorrow.
 
Glad to see i'm not the only one here who is in the dark. Ordered on the 15th around 6pm EST and got a process page at around 8pm EST. No info yet and i've been checking my email constantly...
 
Replacement order placed 7/16/2010 at 3:30 p.m just shipped from Memphis. Only problem is the Telesales lady that handled this chose 2 day free shipping. My order is showing estimated ship date of 7/22. I'm hoping I get it tomorrow however.

Just an FYI for those trying to determine when they might get their phone based on order date and time of order.

I received the exact same information. Had to order a (replacement) X yesterday (19th). Called VZW to confirm shipment date today, and they said it would be shipped on the 27th. But they did ask me what part of the country I am in (NH) - they said items ordered the 19th for the Northeast would be shipped on the 27th.
Let's hope it happens.
 
So I finally got my tracking number last night. Verizon told me my package shipped yesterday morning and was due for delivery tomorrow by 7pm. I got my tracking number for fedex, but the last update was from 11am yesterday where it says it left it's origin city in PA.

Is it weird that there have been no updates in over a day? Is fedex usually good about updating their tracking page?
 
I ordered mine at 5:00 PM on 7/17 and and the website was saying it will ship by 7/23 and also got a confirmation e-mail:

Order Date: 07/16/2010
Order Number: xxxxxxxxxx
Order Status: Your order has been processed and will be shipped based on inventory availability and shipping method. You will receive shipment notification and tracking details via email.

BUT just got an e-mail this morning that it was shipped overnight arriving tomorrow. When I checked the VRZ status, it still shows the above message. Looks like they ship earlier than the web date. Keep up your hope!!!:)
