What's your location? Anyone posting a shipping confirmation should include their location, that might give us an idea of regional availability...

Arrival date is 7/22. The phone has shipped. I was hoping to get it tomorrow possibly anyway, but after talking with Fedex, it isn't looking good. Even it the phone ends up in Columbia 6 miles from where I work tomorrow, Fedex didn't seem to think I could even go get it assuming it didn't get put on a truck. I'm just glad the phone finally shipped, but I'm honestly not sure why my replacement phone would ship with a 2 day delivery and my first (bad) phone shipped with overnight?
 
Ordered mine night of 7/16 and just got my tracking number email this afternoon. Should arrive tomorrow while I'm at work. Not bad considering I also got a bunch of accessories.
 
I ordered mine saturday night (the 17th) and I swear it still said the 23rd at the time but they did switch to saying the 27th late saturday. I have recieved no fedex tracking info yet. I live in VA btw.

How can that be, I ordered the 16th, and no tracking info of any kind. Glad for you dude. But why are some of us being screwed like this?
 
Seattle - Ordered 7/17 in the morning. Was told it would ship Monday. Called Monday due to no tracking info. Was told it would not ship until the 27th. Did a bit of yelling, got a $35 credit and just received tracking info. In Memphis and will arrive 7/22. :D

Wish I knew, maybe it has something to do with region? Does everything ship out of Memphis or are there other disto centers? I seem to remember all of my previous VZW orders being shipped to me (in VA) from Baltimore.

I guess I'm not really in a position to complain to VZW yet since the "shipping by" date was 7/23....but if I call to complain will that grease the wheels for my phone?
 
Goes by region. Northeast comes out of PA or DC/MD. Midwest out of Memphis etc. All depends on when Motorolla gets the shipments to each center at least as per the several CSRs I have spoken to lately. That is why some orders placed after others ship first. depends on where you live.

My location - northeast ohio.

I'd think they might have more units in my area since I live 5 minutes from Motorola HQ...but it still shipped from Memphis and all the local stores have been out of stock.
 
I ordered over the phone on Saturday, July 17 around 11:00 AM EST and just called to check one more time tonight. It turns out my phone will be delivered tomorrow.

It shipped from the Memphis, TN UPS hub at 8:18 PM EST to come to Charlotte, NC via UPS Next Day Air.

Again, I got no email informing me of this; instead, I just called and asked them to check my order status. Good things do still happen to good people. :)

EDIT: Originally, I was told I would receive the phone by July 27th.

You can call them so late? using what number? I have never called customer service
 
I'm in North Dakota, ordered online on the 17th, will be delivered tomorrow.

Also, I'm a new vzw customer. I dont know if that affects anything.

Haha will do! Hopefully there wont be anything wrong with the phone when i eventually get it, i have such bad luck
 
I strongly encourage people to call their Customer Service line (#611) because they appear to be having some issues with sending out confirmations and tracking numbers. The earlier you call, the better. I waited for about 4 minutes on the phone tonight to talk to them.

that's what mine says too. even though 2 of my phones(not the droid x) already arrived. I have no clue as to where I am with on the droid. did I make 27th or did I somehow get bumped to the 8/3 date. It seems like a totally useless order status page.
 
Paid in store on the 16th. FedEx website has it waiting to leave Memphis, TN...

"Estimated delivery: Jul 22, 2010 by 7:00 PM"
 
Interesting... On the VZW website "Check Your Status" page where you enter your order number, last name is required, but it doesn't matter what last name you put in there... Leading me to believe that it is basically a dummy page.

Go figure...

Edit: Just called customer service - they contacted the internet orders department and my order has been delayed until the 27th due to demand. THIS SUCKS!
 
So I called this morning and got a tiny bit of info... the lady i spoke with said my order was "pending shipment".... but it can still take up to the 27th since i ordered it on the 18th. Still waiting patiently for my email because my voyagers touchscreen is finally dying and i can't use it lol so i would really love to have a fully working phone :)
