Help ***Official*** Status of your Droid X order thread

From looking at the posts, it looks like the Memphis distro center has had higher stock since the 7/15 and 7/16 folks in the midwest have had theirs shipped. The VA folks and some NY's are just getting their 7/15 orders shipped. Mine and PerCompLLC's are from 7/16, so we'll see.
PerCompLLC's CSR said 7/27, hopefully they were clueless and we'll get a shipping notice this week.
Ordered 7/15 at 12:45am in NYC online. Still no update. Getting discouraged. Calls to customer service are met with "I'm sorry, I have no updates on your phone." Thinking of cancelling it.
On the bright side, apparently, a lot of the first batch phones had issues, so maybe us second batch people won't?

Does anyone know if you order a phone at a local VZW store, if you should be able to look up the order # online?
I ordered my original X online (on the 15th). It was delivered the 16th. Died the 19th. Brought to my local VZW store, who ordered a replacement (same day). I just called VZW customer service to get the order # (supposed to be shipped the 27th...ugh I am so impatient).
After I hung up (my bad), I went online to look up the order number. It says that order number doesn't exist. Should I be able to bring something up? I'm really not good at this waiting stuff....not at all.

The CSRs told me mine would ship until friday, and it shipped yesterday. Nice surprise.
Thank you. I was panicking that they made up an order number and it didn't really exist. ;-)
I'm such a control freak ~ I just want a way to plug in a number and see the status. I guess I'll just wait (im)patiently for that promised shipping notification email.
It wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't had that three days to play with the phone before it self destructed. Knowing how awesome the phone is, and having to wait 10 days for a replacement is just torture. ;-)

Received the "Sales Confirmation" e-mail on 7/15 at 10pm
Received the "Internet Order Update" e-mail on 7/15 at 11pm saying
"Your order is currently in queue to be processed. In most cases orders are processed within 3 business days. If additional information is required before we can complete your order, you will receive a more detailed e-mail. If your order can be completed successfully, you will receive an e-mail confirmation that your order has been completed and shipped."
and that my order date was "Order Date: 07/16/2010 02:06:38" (figure out how my order date and time was later then the email they sent me? lol)
No Further e-mails have been received....
The money was takin out of my bank account on the 19th
When I check verizons status thing it says
"Order Status: Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow"
and that hasnt changed since the 17th
Oh, and I'm in Maryland.... I'm really keeping my fingers crossed here...

1st good luck to everyone with their Droid X, I hope you get them as promised 
2nd Verizon CS called me today and explained that my order had been lost on the 15th and now my Droid X, would need to be re-ordered
I snapped (but later apologized) canceled my order and I am moving on without Verizon and without a Droid X.

Well as of right now I just received my Droid X and this thing is amazing by every standard. Definitely worth the wait. Only downside is i have to manually enter every contact because my sister won't take me to verizon but im not gonna complain

The beauty of having a gmail account is that your contacts are brought over automatically once you set up the gmail account on your new phone.
Is it normal for fedex tracking to just stop at a point and then resume later. My replacement was shipped yesterday and some tracking activity was updated quickly, but nothing in over 1 day. It isn't supposed to be delivered until tomorrow, but I just want to be sure everything is OK.

Well, I doubt the complaining to Verizon helped - but I just received my shipping notification! It'll be here on Friday! I just may have to take the day off from work...

Which warehouse is yours coming from?
I'm located in Loudoun County, VA and my X was picked up from Westchester, PA at 4:31pm. Estimated delivery 7/23 before 7:00pm.
