Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

So...first post in this epic thread. Heck...almost first post period.

Ordered my Incredible on 7-15. It hasn't even been a week and I'm like a kid looking forward to summer vacation.

I had originally ordered the Eris and days after I ordered it disappeared from the website. I figured "I don't want to be stuck with a phone they no longer offer/support" so I returned it and saved a little extra cash and ordered the Incredible.

For those of you that already have it...please tell me it's worth it. I've already been tempted a couple times to cancel the order and get it through Wirefly but I got the better deal through big red....so....I wait.

my first one sucked, but for 2 hours ,it behaved, and it was the most awesome experience ever with a smart phone

i, like you, have gotten a price no other place can match, so i wait for big red to come through for my re-ship

if you had gotten the eris you would have been extremely dissapointed lol. It was a very slow phone compared to what is basically new standard which is 1Ghz.
 
I got an awesome upgrade price when I ordered mine through Verizon, hence, the waiting. Sometimes you wonder if it's worth it.

I keep hearing about how great the phone is...so I'm guessing it must be, unless you're Attorney, and they send you a crappy phone.

I'm so sad, I have a list of apps and links to them, all ready to roll the second I get that phone booted up. ;P
 
My phone was delivered but I'm stuck at work till 5. I can't concentrate to save my life. Luckily I got a lot of small tasks that don't require much focus to fill the rest of the day.
 
yay, it's here and charging!

Order date: 6/24 online
Arrival date: 7/20

But can I wait a full 8 hours for it to charge? FSM only knows...
 
hey guys my phone got here a couple days ago. i was on a camping trip so it was a nice suprise when i got home. i ordered on june 21st and it got to my house on july 16th. it was expected to be here on 7/19 so it arrived a couple days early! now i just have to go to verizon and get it all set up.

Expected ship date of 7/28
Actual ship date of 7/20 with arrival on 7/22

btw i never received that phone message when dialing *611 so dont necessarily think that needs to happen before you get your shipping notification :)
 
Ok now I am getting frustrated! I ordered the 29th online and haven't gotten a shipping notification yet. How are people who ordered on the 30th getting theirs? I did receive the pending activation message when dialing *611 on the 18th though.

I am leaving on Friday for a 10 day vacation and will be very upset if I don't get it before then. There will be no one here to sign for it. I can just see them sending it back.
