I like the stock keyboard and have tried all the ones you guys have mentioned here, but I am still having one major problem with all of them. I guess I have fat thumbs or something because I tend to hit the "." key rather than the spacebar key. Any keyboards have a fatter spacebar or allow me to move the "." key that is directly to the right of the spacebar key?
It's in beta, so it's not there. Go to the first page of this thread I think I saw the link thereI dont see swype in the app store

Long-press the text input field and choose input method. Any of the keyboards you have enabled previously in settings will show up there.
Shapewriter all the way first one i downloaded havent even tried the others. And it has voice to text
Ok, I think I finally have found the best, at least for me. I was a hardcore blackberry user, and this is my first non-blackberry, first touch screen, and first android phone.
I've tried Stock, Shapewriter, Swiftkey, and SlideIT. Hands down, no competition, SlideIT is the winner.
I was actually doing just fine on Stock, I think the predictive suggestions are awfully good, but I wanted to play around. Shapewriter never seemed easy to me, and Swiftkey was not nearly the miracle some had written about, at least for me. I was still much faster on Stock. Then I tried SlideIT and I never switch.
The swiping is very fast. You have to be a little more accurate than Shapewriter, but I find it easier to be accurate. It gives great suggestions, and best of all, the speech to text is amazing. Not only does it HAVE speech to text (shapewriter does not), but it gives 6 possible suggestions, so any tricky word combos almost always come out correct.
Additionally, it has a switch to go from slide to abc mode for passwords or just plain typing SlideIT.
SO easy. It does cost money, but for me it was WELL worth it.
Loving it and my evo, and thanks to all of you that have helped my get up to speed.
Stock for me. I like having the arrow keys and the key that let's me close the keyboard. I haven't found any good keyboards with both of these keys.

Has anyone been able to install the Swype beta on more than one phone? For example, I signed up and installed it on my Evo, but can I download the beta installer again and use it on a MyTouch?
Look one post above yours.I see how many of you are loving swype..is not in the market...where do you get it?
I really like this keyboard, where can I get this?Currently using Droid Does - Red Themed Swype; Also Droid X which is also good. Only using the Swype now for about 24 hrs, hard for me to get used to texting this way.
