CELEBFroyo v1.4

It sounds to me that you have a rogue app or widget causing problems. Or maybe your cpu clock is set too high, but that usually causes freezes and not battery drain.

I think its the task killer.. they are not meant to work with froyo at all. I noticed bad battery life, got rid of my task killer and all was good

Completely agree, at the time of my post he hadn't stated that he was using one. Froyo and task killers don't mix, plus with JIT it's really not necessary. If anything Autokiller is the only way to go sense it doesn't actually kill apps it just keeps the system from fully utilizing all the memory.

Here's a question not too far off topic.. if ATK is installed but not running, think it still drains the battery?

Yup, it was using alot of my battery when just installed. I uninstalled it and now I'm getting amazing battery life. When its not running of course its going to be using alot less battery but I saw better performance after removing it. Performance battery and speed wise.

I think you have two options at this point:

1. Wipe data and cache
2. Install a different ROM or reinstall ROM (re download is not a bad idea on this option)

Yeah, I gotta agree with Papadroid.. sounds like the ROM might have went sour on you. I'd redownload the ROM and try again.

Thats weird, in three hours my battery goes down about 6 percent with this ROM :D did you just flash it?
surgeon, I just installed CELBFroyo 1.4 today (still love Kaos, just ROM jumping again).

You using setCPU to get overclocking to 787?
