Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

It really is nice. I've been with Verizon for about 10 years and very seldom have I ever had a problem with the disposition of Verizon CS reps. Most of them have gone out of their way to help if they could. Some can't solve your issue but at least they try. All the reps have been nice about this situation. I think they have to do some damage control bc of all the angry people waiting in line for phones. Lol.

I am positively giddy about the shipping and can't wait until Monday. This is going to be a long weekend.
 
Been following this thread since I ordered a couple of weeks ago. Got my shipping confirmation today.

Ordered: 7/12 (in the morning)
Shipped: 7/23
Expected: 7/27

Looking forward to getting my new phone

I have been with Verizon for about 10 years as well and have never had a problem with their CS. I make sure I am sweet as sugar when talking to them. I think you get better results that way.

The guy I talked to let me upgrade early because of the long wait for this phone. My upgrade date was't until tomorrow but he moved it up a month early for me.

I hope this weekend goes quickly for you!
 
Is there a method to how Verizon decides who gets a phone when available? I ordered one on line on 7/8 and still no word and a call to CS didn't give me any information.

EST Arrival: 7/27

Wow, this weekend is going to be the longest of my life!! I cannot wait until tuesday!

est. ship date: 07.27, then 08.02 :mad:
shipped: 07.21
received: 07.23

the last time i called cs (earlier this week) they said it would be shipped by 08.02 or something. never received an email with shipping/tracking info. nice surprise though!

unfortunately, i'm going to a party tonight & i don't wanna be rude by playing with my new phone the whole time, so i probably won't bring it with me. it's still initially charging anyway. can't wait to mess with my Inc when i return!
 
Congrats to all that already received your phone. Enjoy! Now it looks like they are delivering the phones pretty quick and the latest shipping date shown in Verizon website is 8-3. Wondering if they are just getting ready to release the OTA update just after that day. I hope they are but who knows. :D

Honestly, that's anyone's guess.... Some people with 7/10 dates shipped before my 7/4 purchase date. However, considering that, I would expect yours to ship by Wednesday of next week. (That's just MY guess). I took a chance and called two days in a row. Yesterday, they didn't know exactly when it would ship. Today they say that it shipped yesterday. Go figure...

I ordered my phone 6/28 and it was delivered today, unfortunately I was on vacation when it was to arrive. One of my friends was watching the house and I told her it was coming and gave specific instructions on getting it. She knew I was very excited about its arrival.

I told her to leave a note on the door with my signature and the tracking # on it as well as a rubbermaid box so if/when it rained the phone wouldn't get wet. She did that and so I texted her to see how everything worked out. She texted back:

"I have some bad news, the dumbass mail guy apparently didn't close the lid good enough and the box is soaked"

To which I freaked out, turns out she was pulling my leg and the phone is safe.
 
No shipment notification today. Was hoping it would send out today and I could get it on Monday and be able to play with it all day Monday and Tuesday since those are my off days. Hopefully it ships Monday!

I am going to try and give it a charge till the light goes green then I am gonna mess with it!

I bet you and I get notices on Monday/Tuesday. At least that's what I'm hoping for!

Does FedEx ship on Saturdays?

Estimated delivery date shows 7/26, but that isn't 2 day shipping if FedEx ships on Saturdays. Can anybody explain?
