Help Can I uninstall icon packs after I set an icon from it?

I've downloaded some icon packs and assigned a few of its icons to custom folders I made in "App Organizer".

My question now is can I safely uninstall the icon packs to free up clutter in the App Drawer and still have App Organizer retain those few icons I do use?

Just try it and see. I know you can use ASTRO to backup the app then browse through the files, find the icons you want and copy them to the sdcard. I do this with all of the icon packs that I look through so I can save just the ones that I want and then delete the app.

Thanks for the tip about backing up. I now have ALL the icons moved to my PC where I can sort and pick to my content.

And I did find out the answer to my original question - yes it is safe! The applied icons stick after the pack is removed. Now much less clutter in my app tray. =)
