Do other camera apps turn the LED off?
Will the LED stay on if you start the camera app and record video?
Can you turn the LED while using shopsavvy?
Also, I would like to test the battery drain while using the LED.

I like the Morse code feature. My previous phone had an app (nueLight) that did that.

How about adding an option to periodically flash the LED like a beacon or warning light?

I would also love to try this app out please. It's exactly what I've been looking for. If it works I will definitely donate. Thanks,

OK, It is on the market at the low price of $0.99 :D

It is under Tools and is called LED Flashlight.

Please go and post (good) reviews.

I reduced the button size and will be upgrading to lock the portrait orientation soon.

Thanks Chet. Just bought. It is the first paid app i have!!! We had power outages last week in Virginia and this was an App i was looking for.

grats man!

a couple questions...

1.) what kind of battery usage are we talking here? how long do you think you could leave the light on? not that i would leave it on for hours. just curious.

2.) is there any danger of burning out the bulbs? i mean they are led so i doubt it. but since they were intended to be on for fractions of a second at a time, i wonder if keeping them on for a lot longer would do any harm...

thanks!

Good questions. I'm sure we will be getting more information on battery usage soon. I would not expect any damage to the LEDs, but can not guarantee.

I just bought it and it works awesome! My comment is Aaron and I wrote you a great comment with 5 stars its a must have. Great job!

Just picked up this app also. Seems to work great! Would definately like to see a brightness control as others posted, but is way better than the screen ones. Thanks!

Upgrade coming soon.

thanks! and just so you know.... this is probably one of the most useful apps on the market as far as tools go. so many times it will come in handy. and its by far better than any screen flashlight on any phone.

great work
