As you can tell, Facebook is broken. It isn't anything you did, your phone, or your rom. Facebook wont sync your contacts until Htc/Facebook fixes this. Please no more new threads about how yours wont sync as there are a million already.

It doesn't sync contacts(NBD for me), you get notifications of comments and wall posts in almost-real-time, and what I like best, it has a way cooler icon than the native FB app.
 
Glad we have a new thread to ask us not to create new threads...

I predict this thread will be either 3 pages long or closed real soom
 
I personally would rather have everybody's bitching over Facebook sync issues in this one thread than having a page worth of new threads. I was more trying to inform people of Facebook being broken than chastise others anyways so settle down.
 
I took all my contacts out of my Hero and once I put them back on, I was was faced with the task of trying to sync all of my Facebook pictures again. Unfortunately it didn't do it automatically like it did when I first got my Hero.

My fix was going to menu>settings>accounts and sync, then signing out of Facebook for HTC Sense. I signed back in then after a few hours all of my contacts were synced with Facebook, pictures included.

I've had several friends change their profile pics recently, one today even, and all are updating/syncing just fine. So, what are you saying, Joe?
