Also, you do not get sense since cm6 is Aosp.
BUT,
you'll be amazed by its speed. yay froyo
 
Yay for droid X

but since i will be responsible for updating my fathers Evo, I hope that Sprint's 2.2 update for the Evo will be OTA and not like the Sprint Hero 2.1 update

that was a pain

i am guessing the Evo, X, Incredible and Droid will all be getting it sometime in august

hopefully i will get it before my bday august 24 :)
 
I really like sense! And I don't think its as much a holdup as people say. They need something to blame it on! Plain and simple Froyo should have been released all around already. This is just a combo of laziness by Google, and Sprint trying to recreate the wheel by testing most likely. I say it'll be live by around Labor Day, first week of September!
 
This sucks... and I refuse to use an experimental incomplete rom with features missing especially 4G since I get great coverage.

Not sure what you're talking about and not sure you know either, but there is no video in the OP link to this thread. Please post whatever video you are referring to, and not the video that shows where someone ported 2.2 features onto a 2.1 kernel, because obviously that is not considered froyo.
 
There's not much difference between the Evo and Incredible hardware wise. Just TFT vs. AMOLED and 4G vs. 3G. I would be surprised if our 2.2 did not roll out simultaneously or very soon after. I don't see why Sprint would need more testing time than Verizon.
 
Moto's probably doing a better job getting their Froyo compatibility sorted out. They have to or they won't be around for long. VZW is bigger but faster than Sprint at rollouts.

HTC's going to be pointing the finger squarely at Sprint if Incredible gets Froyo more than a few days ahead of Evo!

I love/Loved sense seeing how i had 4 devices with it(Eris, Incredible, Hero, and Evo)

But now with my droid X this is my first blur experience and overall i like it

Sense is a great UI, don't get me wrong it just seems dated to me and its like overly simple

Blur on my Droid X took some learning but i love the intergration

although I am missing sense and I am actually thinking of flirting with disaster once more and exchanging for yet another HTC device and hope that this one is better than the ones i purchased

Since i am no longer with Sprint & the evo

i guess if i switched back to sense it be an incredible

touchwiz is awful though, i think
