Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

It really is worth the wait! Got my phone yesterday and haven't put it down since.
And the battery seems to last longer than some people have said. Fully charged, i used it heavily yesterday from 1pm-9pm and still had some juice left

When I was doing research to see which phone I would be getting, I was looking up information about the OTA that was supposed to be leaked a few weeks ago. At that time, the Inc had a reputation of having a short battery life. I asked my friend, who got his Inc in April, if he knew about the OTA and what differences it made on his phone. He didn't know about the OTA, so he forced it to his phone (I guess with a manual software update) and he was pleased with the improvement in battery life. Maybe when they roll out 2.2 (supposedly next week), all users will see an increase in battery life and a few extras as well.

Supposed to be delivered by 3pm today. Unfortunado it seems that they require a signature. Not sure if it's actually just a signature or a direct signature they need (direct means that the recipient or other resident at that address needs to sign). I left a note on my door giving Mr Fedex my approval to leave the package or to take it to my neighbor's house and have old man Bob sign for it but from what I understand that won't cut it. You can pick up after the driver's shift at the fedex hub but I have class 6-10. I'm like a little kid waiting for that $2.00 weather balloon I ordered out of the back of Boys' Life. Good luck with your deliveries. I have a feeling the major delays are over (for a couple weeks).

they just need a signature. Apparently my great grandma (who is watching my house while I'm in Cambodia) signed for mine.
 
Got my shipping notification! It will be here tomorrow!!!!

Ordered online 7/21 (afternoon)
Estimated ship date before 8/3
Actual ship date 7/28
Received date 7/29 (hopefully!!!)
 
i ordered on 7/22 over the phone and im going crazy waiting for it. If someone who ordered on 7/23 got a shipping notification, i would think i would to today....and im going out of town early friday till monday so at this point i really want that shipping notification today with overnight shipping!
 
yeah, heres hoping for notification today! ordered on the 23rd, and i'm just waiting....uggggggh

also paid for next day overnight shipping lol so if i don't get a conf today, i might not get it this week! :(

yay! hopefully mine will ship soon..i ordered 7/26 so i'm hoping it will ship before friday otherwise i will have to wait until after i get back from vacation :mad:
 
I set up an algorithm formula; at this rate of progression (catching up rate by Verizon), by August 3rd, approximately 1000 persons a day should be receiving there Incredible s BEFORE they even order them!

I can confirm this. It's happening now. A friend of mine was going to order his tomorrow, and it got delivered this morning!:eek:

Besides order date (which doesn't seem to matter all of the time)shipping depends a lot on your location and the inventory of the shipping warehouse, but I agree with you hope we get more shipping notifications today as I placed my re-order via phone on 7/21 CST w/free overnight shipping.
