Well, I just went to the Verizon store to complain about my 4th Eris(my 3rd in 2 weeks). After being in there before, I was supposed to get a call from the District Manager, obviously I never did, that was 2 weeks ago. Last week, I went into a different store and got a different District Manager's number and called her, left a voicemail and never heard back. So, walking into the store very pissed off, my mom and I started talking to the Store Manager. While talking with her and telling her that we should not need to get a replacement every week for the same issues, another customer started talking to my mom about her having the same issues and she told us what to say. Eventually, the store manager said that she would give me a $100 credit to any phone I wanted, I thought this was great being that I was thinking about getting the Droid X. My mom started to tell the manager how we were going to go to ATT and contact my dad's company and tell them how we were treated poorly. This got on the store manager's last nerve and she gave me a brand new Motorola Droid for FREE.
I have had the Droid for about 2 hours now and it is SO much better than my Eris. Looks like I am done watching this part of the Forum with an Eagle eye and will start to monitor the Moto Droid one. Maybe I will come back at points for some fun. Thank you everyone in the Droid Eris section for all the help.
