What type of 32GB card does one need for it to work with the droid?

I can't seem to find any anywhere.

The Droid supports 32gb Micro SDHC cards. None are available as of right now but in the coming months they will be. Be ready to spend a pretty penny on one.

Yeah, but if you wait about 6 months they'll be reasonable. I paid like $60.00 for my 16G last year, now I can fine them for $12.00

I've seen some on eBay for around 100 dolalrs at times.
They are out there, but you gotta search for them.

ebay has had numerous problems with scam-labeled flash memory cards. I don't trust that those cards are actually 32GB since you can't find them anywhere else. I only trust ebay for flash when it comes in retail packaging, and even then, I'm a little nervous.

The only one's i've seen are were being sold by "power users" and he had a bunch in stock, so It seemed trustworthy, but you are correct, you gotta watch out

Amen, a lot of times too they re-label Class 2 cards as class 6. Only buy from a reputable company. Most times the savings you find on Ebay for legit cards are negligible at best compared to a proven company like Newegg. I'll gladly pay an extra $6 to have piece of mind. But as others have stated, there are no 32GB cards just yet.

Why would he have a bunch in stock if you can't find them anywhere else? Makes no sense.

They haven't perfected the mass production process yet, ie lemon % is too high.

Doesn't meant that there are not thousands of them already being made in China that work perfectly

Ebay had Kingston 32GB Micro cards for $99, anyone buy and try?

I just searched on ebay for one, and i can't seem to find a darn thing. So, i assume there is not one...and they are all scams, haha. Not that it matters since I probably wont be buying one for a while anyways and let the price drop.

My 32gb Micro SD card expirience:
The 32gb Micro SD cards were being offered (at an "extremely limited supply") at my Verizon store (Princeton, NJ & Hamilton, NJ stores) when I purchased my Motorola Droid 2 weeks ago. They were sold out so I went on a waiting list. The deal was that when the 32gb cards came in again, I could trade the 16gb in & pay the $$ difference for the 32gb micro SD card at the going price at that time (to be determined upon arrival). I checked SanDisk & Kingston & they aren't listing them yet. Due to the high demand of the Droid accessory's and the limited supply of the (yet to be released) 32gb Micro SD cards I had to turn to ebay. There were 2 that were just sold, 1 for $95.00 & one for $130.00. 4 were just put up for auction in the Arizona area so I grabbed one for $145.00. It's a SanDisk & I'll keep you all posted if it's legitimate. Sorry for the long post !

It's kinda fun just picking up a handfull of cf cards and then running drive forensics software on them. Sometimes you find, uhh, "neat" photos, usually it's just boring family vacation photos. ;)

Does anyone know what class the SD card is that comes with the Droid? I don't recall seeing it labeled on the card anywhere. The performance is okay however I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile to purchase a new 16GB if there are better performing ones out there.

Exactly what I was looking for (info wise).
Seems kinda crazy to me that they would stick a slow card in these phones. So then it begs thge question (for me, anyway), Just how much more responsive will the Droid be with a class 6 card?
(I do not have one of these gems, yet.)
