Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

3:00 and the phone is due here by 4:30. Its on the truck as I write this.
Ordered 7/23 promised by 8/3 delivery 7/30

This will be our 2nd incredible in the house.
My son couldn't stand his Mom having a better phone.:D

Just wait... it'll get longer... waiting for that light to turn green is like watching water boil.

Once its good to go though, man, is it worth it. Ive had the phone for 2 days and completely love it.

Ordered 7/29 online in the early morning
Receiving shipping notification with tracking # today 7/30!!

WAHOO!!!!
 
Short story: (all times are ~ish)

DInc arrived at 3pm.:) Took out of box, made sure everything was there, then plugged in the 1750mAh battery from the Eris.:)

3:15... Our 10lb min-dacshund snaps at our 80lb golden. 80lb golden snaps back. A split second later, mini-dach has a gash on the back of her neck.:mad:

3:20 Trip to the vet.:( Dog OK, drugged up, but OK.:)

4:45 Got back home.

5:00 Left to meet guy I was selling Eris to.;)

6:00 Back home.

6:15 ROOTED!:D

When I ordered my Dinc over the phone with VZW on Thrusday afternoon 7/29 they stated they were on-hold and will not ship till after 8/5 so shipping can dig out from the backlog. But my Dinc shipped on Friday 7/30 so I guess shipping and sales department are not talking to each other about real shipping times. Also my Dinc came out of VZW's CA shipping center, so I am wondering if only some shipping centers are backlogged and others aren't.

Now I'm tracking my Dinc's box and watching FedEx move it around CA getting ready to make the jump to CO. ETD Monday 8/2 :D

Can't believe how short the wait is now.... soon there will be no need for this thread anymore:mad:. Been a part of this thread since pg 19 or 20 and this is the first time it has been knocked off page 1. Hell i have something like 350 posts in this thread alone. Can't believe the wait times all but gone now, i waited 23 days for mine and there were others who waited much longer than that. For any haters out there (seemed to be a couple recently in here) please let each person make up there own mind. This phone is truly Incredible IMHO.

I was watching this thread while waiting for my upgrade date to come. I was hoping the wait times would ease up a bit and thankfully they did. I feel bad so many people had to wait four even five weeks for their phones.
I don't know if I will even receive tracking info since I ordered mine in the store. It seems like online orders got shipping notifications but in store orders didn't.

Ordered 7/29 In Store
Shipping Date ??
Est Shipping Date 8/4
 
Ordered 7/30 in store so it should ship by Wednesday at the latest and arrive by Friday, good timing since I am going away on vacation on Sunday.
 
I ordered my Dinc online Thursday (7/30) night with free overnight shipping with a "ship by date" of 8/4. Fed-ex says I'll have it tomorrow (8/2).

Boy you sure got that right nmayer! It's crazy to see how fast DIncs are shipping now! I waited close to a month myself, and as far as the phone goes... absolutely "Incredible!" :cool:

On a side note - for all those wondering about battery issues.... the standard battery is a joke... however... there is a site selling (2) 1800 mAh batteries + wall charger for $30 inc. shipping on eBay. Not only that - they ship from California... NOT Hong Kong- so shipping is fast. The batteries work awesome, and the difference is huge!

Hello all, new member checking out the forum a little over a week or so now. Great community and looking foward to being a part of it.

I called to order for a new every two renewal on 7/27 and was told it may be to 2-3 weeks on the DInc. I was fine with that as I knew about the back log. Got shipping notice on the 30th and according to Fedex I should be getting it tomorrow on the 3rd. Really excited 1st real smartphone coming from LG Voyager. Pretty happy about Verizon setting expectations and then topping it.

I'll be sure to properly charge so I won't expect much use till the 4th.
