Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

The idiots at fedex never rang my doorbell, so I didn't hear them knock from the second floor of my house when they tried to delivery my Inc today. And they didn't accept the note I had left, just in case this scenario happened. Now I have to wait another damn day...

after one delivery attempt you can go to fedex and pick it up yourself.
 
I would, but they told me it wouldn't be available until tomorrow for some reason. Plus it's an hour drive to the distribution center. Guess I'll just have to wait.

Yea that does stink, i waited 23 days for mine and the wait is soooo worth it. So an extra day ain;t so bad i guess.

I ordered mine on 7/4, with an estimated ship date of 8/3. I received the phone last monday, 7/26 :D

I read on the FedEx website that a note would suffice. I had left a handwritten note, signed and dated, on my front door. The box was on my front porch when I got home.
 
Ordered my phone on 7/31 and the ship by date was 8/5. I checked the fedex link and it supposed to deliver tomorrow 8/3! It is already at the fedex sort station about 3 miles from my home. It seems that backed up orders are getting caught up??
Received my phone at 11:00 am 8/3! That was quick. Not as fast as the Incredible itself but pretty damn fast!

So he does the whole transaction over and then I ask him about the $25 credit that I was promised for the back order delay when I ordered, he discounted my phone another $25 and finished the order. I told him I wanted the 16GB micro SD card for free and he said no way to that because of the $100 account credit and the $25 discount to the phone. I told him that the account credit and $25 dollar discount were for separate reasons so he offered 25% of on the purchase of the SD card. So my phone will ship overnight by 8/4.

Well, My Phone finally showed up today! 3 days early! I must say it is all that and a bag of chips. Charged it and have been playing around with it all day. (did the whole bump charge thing). Now I can't wait for froyo:D. Thanks to everyone here for putting up with my whining.
 
Got my phone today! 2 days early. Been messing with it all day. Love the stock keyboard. I can already "super-type" in portrait, or atleast I feel i can. lol. It was definitely very overwhelming for about the first hour. It's very different from any phone i've had. (LG Chocolate 2, LG Voyager, Samsung Rogue), but I find the learning process to be very fun. Haven't been able to put it down. :)

LOL It would appear that this thread is just about finished, now though :( I just checked and for 8/3, the WSB date is 8/6. Well, it was bound to happen. (Of course, now the X is pushed out to the 19th...and the CSRs cringe again) I'll see you on the rest of the forums!

Your right, they don't even know, lol. Been pretty dead in here lately. We had some helluva good times in here. I still keep an eye out in here but don't really post much. Imagine only a three day wait.........

I ordered last night about 10:00pm. Verizon was showing "will ship by 8/6" online. Got the shipping confirmation today. It will be here tomorrow!
 
i'm in california and i see the other folks getting quick shipments are back east. perhaps the california warehouse is out of stock?

Those were the days when i had one finger on F5 all the time and rejoiced when someone got a notice as mine was one step closer :)

Whats up raghublr!!! Big V is spoiling people these days. Inc would of broke sales records if they were in stock this hole time.
 
Has anyone purchased their Incredible in a Verizon store (and been told it would ship to them) and received an email stating that it has shipped, or did it just show up on your doorstep?

I ordered one in the store, got the email from Verizon when it shipped.
