What do your X Screens look like?

Nope. I tried both ways, home screen then WidgetLocker and WidgetLocker then home screen. The WidgetLocker shows a narrow cropping area whereas the regular wallpaper display the normal cropping area. I'm using pictures that are in my galley, and even tried a reboot since someone mentioned that when first installing WidgetLocker.

I have a feeling that I'm doing something really idiotic but just cannot figure out what it is.

From your home screen press menu, then settings, location and security, remove the check from lock screen option. See if that helps, if not try uninstalling the app and reinstall it. Let me know if that works.

Alright, problem solved. Apparently it's an issue with the stock X gallery. You need to browse to the wallpaper with a different gallery. If you don't have one HERE is a link to download the 3D Gallery. It should take care of it.

Here is a pretty blurry pic of my X (taken with a friends iphone...of course it would be blurry lol) I skinned an X wallpaper with red and added my own custom app drawer button and dock to LP. I also made a Skype droid icon since there wasn't one included in the pack. Let me know what you think. I'm looking to really get into doing more stuff like this...

That's Marisa Miller. I just did a google search and found that one along with many more that are background worthy. And I have re-arranged my shortcuts so they no longer cover up the important parts

Did it ever give you an option for using the 3d gallery? Did you install the 3d gallery after you installed WidgetLocker? reinstalling WL may help. I had the 3d gallery already installed and then got widget locker and when I changed the wallpaper it gave me the option to use the stock gallery, 3d gallery or ASTRO.

So I downloaded all three items, including the usb driver folder. However, when I connect my X via USB debugging mode and go into device manager to update the driver, it says "Windows could not find driver software for your device."

I have no clue what's wrong. I'm directing it to the usb_driver folder that I downloaded but I keep getting the same message. Help please!

The clock/weather app (Weather & Toggle Widget). This is the only app I've found that mimics the HTC Sense's animated weather. I'm using the h7c-clock skin and h7c-weather skin, which was recommended in another post, so not my idea. (It was in my original post.) You'll have to download it to your SD card and install them from the card. It takes a while to figure out but I never found them on the Market, so there was a way to find them from the app itself if you play with it awhile. Sorry, don't have time right now to check. BTW, this is the only app I've found that animates the rain drops, followed twice by the windshield wiper, really cool. I tried to get a screen shot, but it wasn't fast enough and all I got was a piece of it after about 20 attempts.

Thanks for the reply colchiro. I was actually curious about the calendar widget below the clock/weather one that has the appointments off to the side (First Premier Bank...).

I found Gemini Calendar this morning which so far works but who knows how I'll feel about it tomorrow

Launcher Pro Plus for the screens, custom dock, and widgets (people, bookmarks, calendar). Fancy widget for the weather flip clock with Beautiful widgets unlock animations enabled. Pure messenger for the "friend stream" and Widget Locker for the lock screen.

Oh and the black status bar is a mod from XDA.

May I ask what settings under LauncherPro Plus you applied to get you dock to look like this. I have tried about everything and can't come up with anything like that.

I like that Pure Messenger so I grabbed that today from the market. I'll give it a try for a while.

I'm pretty sure the dock settings as well as the locker are an add-on app or theme.

Here's my little Droid Marine I hacked together from various images this morning lol. Don't know if there's any Starcraft 2 fans here or not but c'mon, Droid + SC2 Marine + Apple/Windows bashing logos is perfect! Or I'm just a big nerd.......shhhh don't tell anyone else!

I don't keep anything on my main home screen, I like being able to see whatever wallpaper I want on there and a simple swipe left or right of the screen and/or dock gets me what I need nice and quick.

*Exhale* After two days of customizing and trying to figure out how i want this to look, here are my frist screenshots. Somewhat simple, inspiration from Airmaxx.

For orientation purposes, screens are 1-7 with 4 being the home screen.

Thumbnails are in this order 4, 3, 2, 1, 5, 6, 7

4-google search and tajm widget
1-switchpro, audiomanager, battery left, tools folder, root folder
2-cubed (large)
3- pandora, games folder, camera folder (w camera apps), multimedia folder (w multimedia related apps), on the go folder (gps, google earth, yelp, etc) app brain market, movie related folder
5- people widget from LPP(names are fake)
6-espn widget, fb link, espn link, cnn link, nyt link, weatherbug small, coupon widget, engadget
7- calendar widget from LPP, groceries link, financial folder, epocrates, and to do list that expands when you touch it.

Obviously i use LPP and bettercut and used custom icons. Very thankful for the people on these forums who helped me out. Thanks!

I got rid of a lot of clutter by using App Organizer instead of Folder Organizer. Folder Organizer just put too many unnecessary lines and text on the screen. With App Organizer, it's just better to group apps in a more hidden way.

I still have to make it look more organzied.. but that's the fun in all of this.

I use Folder Organizer and can do the same thing. Can't get screen shots until I get home from work, though. Not sure about yours, but in FO, I can choose to display like you have or just icons without text; or in list format, with or without icons.
