Help Samsung Galaxy S - Indian thread

Did anyone try Samsung Apps on the latest firmware? It doesn't seem to work for me. I updated the firmware using Kies to the official one...
 
Does anyone know of a freeware alternative to Bettercut which works with Launcher Pro to help change default icons of apps on the home screen?
[EDIT] : I found one - FolderOrganizer.

Yeah.. Anycut is the old horse. But this FolderOrganizer thing works really well. I've tried most of the Home apps out there - before settling on LauncherPro Plus. It is by far, the smoothest one on SGS.

Do you use all free apps ? Better cut is very good you know :)

You know what you are doing...but windows users (I'm the poor guy:() don't know what they are doing :(
BTW, which one you prefer.....My Backup Pro ya Titanium Backup ? Or anything better than them....Please suggest me :)

ADW Launcher v1.0.1 is working very nicely on my SGS..just turned off the Horizontal Drawer...I like it's some special features. LauncherPro Plus is also awesome. I like ADW coz it can disable desktop icon label and the Swipe actions and also the hidden drawer to use for some advanced tools which should not be opened by my friends or sister :D.
 
one more observatrion, the phone app is not very responsive and never hangs after flashing the DDJG4 .. its wonderful, before this I use to get black screens on phone app often ...

for people having the original JF3 ROM, its highly recomended to flash to official new one....

I used JG5..JM2...JM5 and JP3...but the tower was very fluctuating....but after DDJG4 it's always full tower. And so the battery is suffering less :) Really nice.
 
DDJG4 is the official ROM from samsung, others seems beta and stuffs ... maybe this is the trick :)

Hope they release the official froyo ROM soon ...
 
Are you familiar with linux ? Linux users are very comfortable on android....as Kalpik is. He always knows what he is doing....but we are to follow just the instructions blindly to use ADB at advance.
 
I dont know much Linux just the basics, but if we follow the instructions properly it is quite straight forward...and yeah our mate Kalpik is really helpfull here :)
