i heard u cant forward or recive files via bluetooth on SGS is dat true ???????

I tried the DroidX keyboard and installed the Google voice APK. This makes SGS more awesome!

Yes, and it works great!any1 tried dis ......??
service mode menu does not come up in DDJG4. Is there any alternative?
Yes, and it works great!

haven't had the time to go through the xda-dev thread, so quick questions:
1. does it need root?
2. does it root the phone?
3. does it wipe the internal storage?
am on jg4 now and not hyper keen on rooting.
thanks in advance!

You are wrong. Root is required for this lagfix. Without root you cant just move around /data files or create the virtual filesystem(ext2) on a existing filesystem(rfs).
Now what can I do to recover? Do I have to use Odin and reflash from begining or can I do something to atleast get back the device and back-up my applications etc? You'll have to use Odin. You must not have been on Busybox 1.17.. That was your problem.

I went back to JM2 after using DDJG4 rooted for a couple of days... noticed higher battery drain with the exact same usage and apps. Anyone else share the same experience?
Does JG4 actually have higher battery drain or is it just me imagining??
