Emulators using a touchscreen

I recently broke my G1 and I am thinking of buying the Samsung Vibrant. Since the Vibrant is touchscreen only I would have a hard time playing Nesoid, SNesoid, etc. I researched the app "Wiimote controller" but unfortunately it does not work for the Vibrant. Should I buy the Vibrant even though I use my phone to play emulators? Or should I just wait for the Samsung Epic or just buy the MyTouch Slide because both have physical keyboards?

I find that playing with the touchscreen on my Incredible hasn't effected gameplay much, if at all. In the event that you do want something to hold, you can get a BT gamepad for $30 off eBay.

For RPGs and the like (even action RPGs) touchscreen is OK. They are difficult to use for action games though (e.g. beat em ups)

Since nesoid and its cousins have added the dead zone slider the ease of use has increased a ton. much easier now.
