Sprint 20% off your bill.

I work for Target corporation and I qualify for a 20% discount. However, I called the number on sprints website to apply and all the guy asked is "Where I work" and "What my ss #" is and now I have it applied after I reply to one of those automated emails to verify my email account? Is it really that easy? Everyone would be doing it if there wasn't a catch.

Mm yeah is the easy, I only get 15% where i work but since I used to be with Verizon and they gave me 20% I told them it was a better deal so at the end they put that i work for home depot amd gave me 25% so i was like ok cool I get my lines with you guys

no its not easy!!! my wife works for suntrust banks and they needed a letter head stating she works for suntrust and also it had to be a certain person ion the exec dept to fill the info out and he/she had to also provide proof of who they are!

2 days after it was all provided some1 in sprint called the exec dept my wife works for to verbally confirm!

so no its not that easy!

lol just a bunch of crap for something like 30% off each month (i think that is the %)

I just filled it out on line and they sent me a confirmation to my work email and that was it. Had the discount ever since

prolly depends on the sprint employee/store you get. My sprint store gave me a 20% discount because my wife (who is on AT&T with her iPhone) worked for a company that was offering 20% discounts with sprint, lol.

Clearly they didn't investigate, and when the automatic email came, I responded, and the discount was applied.

I did mine a few years ago, I just called up, told them who I worked for, gave them the phone number of my work. Next bill the discount was applied.

The great thing is, and this is in their "rules", even if you quit working for that place, you will still get the discount for life. I was told this by a rep as well, as long as you dont ask them to take the discount off, they will never check again to see if you still work there.

its easy to get a discount with sprint... i get 27%... i love saying that i "work" at jp morgan chase

when i signed up, they asked for my employer. it wasn't listed, then he asked if i was a member of a credit union. i said yes, they gave me a 10% discount.

never asked for verification

Wow, you gave them your social? I'm not sure if that's required but geez that's a bit personal...

Maybe an employee ID number or something but social...

The catch is that some people have a moral compass that persuades them to not commit fraud. If you don't work for the company and claim that you do, you're lying.

But saving $276 a years makes it easier to live with myself...

they asked me for my work email (i was on the phone) i told them i was told not to give it out to ANYONE... so she said ok and just gave me the discount...

Yup! It's that easy! Sprint has quite a few discounts depending on where you work, where you bank and more.
I get 25% off a month.. that easy. :)

whats the big deal? 30% over two years is a nice chunk of change.. Sounds like a bargain for a few minutes worth of work!!

Easy tiger, I've been sweating at a Target Distribution center for over 7 years. I deserve every bit of the 20% off I'm getting. I was just wondering if it were this easy and why I hadn't done this a long time ago.

I wasn't pointing the finger at you but was referring to the people that do this that DON'T work at a qualified business partner.

If you say you work at Home depot, how would they even check an email? LOL. Retail doesnt give employees emails.

its not that easy
i work for a mortgage company and i get 18%
i had to give them my work email address to which i got an email and had to confirm it in order to get it.

When you call because you don't have a work email, they simply ask your personal email. Which was my gmail account, I verified from there.

I get 23% through PPG Industries. They never asked for an email or any proof that I work there (even though I really do).
