Where is my OTA

9 am on what is said to be the last day for the first of the two updates. Still waiting for mine. Is there anyone else who is still waiting?
 
I have not received mine either. Central NC. When 2.1 came out I forced it...but I really want to wait for them to push it to me this time. Then I will try to work up the courage to "root".
 
I'm still patiently waiting in NJ. I thought for sure that it would arrive yesterday, the first day of my scheduled vacation - because if something went wrong I'd be SOL until I got back (no computers on vacation for me). It seems my Droid found out that I'm not actually "away" yet, even though the vacation still appears on my calendar for this week, and it too is patiently waiting... for its location awareness to confirm that I'm far away from any PC-based help.

OK, I on't want to be a killjoy, and if the moderators think I'm out of line, please feel free to delete this post...

This must be about the 20th thread of folks saying "I just got/I haven't got my OTA 2.2 Upgrade / I forced my 2.2 upgrade". This was kinda newsworthy 10 days ago or so, but, honestly, right now, not so much. There are probably 100,000 or more folks still waiting to get upgraded and if only 1% chime in here... Well, you get my drift.

So, I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but personally, I've been trying to keep up with all the new things happening with the roll out and these posts are kind of distracting. I'm really interested to hear when folks have new problems or unusual installations, but the "I got it/I didn't get it" has got kind of tiresome.

Sorry for the rant.
 
I understand what you're saying, there are a lot of these posts. But this one and many others have clearly labled titles. If you don't want to read them, don't click on them.

For the people who don't have it, I guess we just wanted to be able to complain with each other and voice our frustrations. I'm really not trying to be rude or anything but if there's something you don't want to read about, you certainly don't have to open it and read about it.

I agree -- sort of... Rant on. There are 5 threads on the first page alone that are of this ilk. If f we had one thread where everyone went it would be easy to ignore and wouldn't bother me at all, but it just feels like the forum is being overrun. Rant off.
 
yeah, but that's forums for you lol everyone wants their 15 min. of fame so they start a new thread so it will get noticed right away, i don't much care either way. honestly i just like reading all the crazy stuff that gets posted all over the place. even if it's the same stuff in multiple posts, for me it passes time at work ;)

If I don't like something I ignore it. Buy hey that's just me.
 
I am rooted but got prompted for mine Sunday, my room mate is still waiting to get hers. Also have a couple of friends that bought theirs together and are on the same account, and only one has received theirs. We're in West Michigan.

Nothing yet from the California Central Coast. I received the 2.1 OTA a couple day after the release date.

I'm not in a hurry. No big deal. It's interesting to see how many have not gotten the update yet. There's quite a few.
