Phone not going into landscape?

I've had my phone for a few days now, and love it!

However, I can't seem to get it to go into landscape mode when texting or performing other functions.

It's slipped into landscape maybe twice accidentally since I've had it. Any ideas?

I just turned the phone off and on, and it seems to landscape when I'm texting - but it's EXTREMELY laggy when doing it.

One thing I found made a differance, (if you can live without it) is turning off Haptic Feedback (vibration when pressing). Reduced the lag for me

Do you have a case on the phone? Check out the updated "functions...gone!!" thread. The change to landscape does take a second or two in my experience.
