No OTA for my Droid

Finally got mine OTA this morning. After phone rebooted it stuck on the Motorola logo for half an hour! Pulled the battery and then phone booted fine in 2.1!!
Called Verizon and they said that the current update is corrupted and the new one will come out over the next couple of weeks. Funny thing is when I tried to do the manual update last week, when I hold down the power key and the X key it never got past the Motorola logo then either. I'm doomed.
 
At least people are still getting it. I hope I get it before flash becomes available in Market. Speaking of, has anyone with 2.2 got flash yet?

It seems like there are a lot of different stories they are telling people about this update. If it is corrupted, then why do people continue to get it? It seems strange to me. I'm not calling you out, it's more of a rhetorical question. I wish Verizon would just issue a press release and let people know the truth (or as close as we'll get to the truth).

I agree completely. If it was corrupted why would they still be pushing it out as late as 8AM this morning. It sounded to me, when I spoke to the Verizon rep, that he really had no clue. It doesn't seem like anybody really has a definitive answer to all this.

On a side note, another VZW tech told me that any Verizon store could manually update the phone to 2.2 with their internal software.
 
Finally got my update overnight. Thought they had forgotten about me. Installed Flash 10.1 and all is working well........ so far.
 
It downloaded at about 10:15ish last night. My phone became super slow at about 10:05 so I restarted it and after it booted, I got a message saying 2.2 update was available. I have yet to install it bc I didn't want to deal with it not working last night. Wish me luck!!!
 
I woke up this morning to find the update notification on my phone! I instantly installed it and had no issues. The first boot up was slow, but I haven't had any problems yet.

I installed flash from a link I found on another site. I think someone posted it here. It is supposed to be the out of Beta release. I was able to stream radio online and watch a video.

I hope those who haven't got the update receive it soon!
