I'm downtown right off Summerlin/South St in Thorton Park and I typically get 1 bar inside and 2 outside. Speeds range from 1.7 to 2.9 down.
quit making these threads. we know already....there are like 5 threads on this
It's sprint, they said Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland were among the cities to be getting 4G by the end of the year.
It won't show up on the 4G map until they're done installing coverage. Typically you'll see a lot of spotty coverage and poor speeds at random until the coverage is finished.
Where is the best place (website from phone) to do a speed test ? thanks
Nothing over here in Westerville
Will have to try tonight at home in Dublin.
I do not know if this has been said or not but here goes. Everyone that is picking up 4G in the orlando area is getting it from the Clearwire buildout. they have been bring up site rapidly for the Sept deployment. I know htis becasue I am a contractor building these sites. I also have an EVO. the best speeds I have seen so far are on 50 between 408 and alafaya. I have posted 4.6 MBPS down and 2.3 MBPS up. As clearwire gets closer to completeing its network everyone on sprint with 4G cap will see better coverage. I have heard rumors that some of the clearwire techs in the feild are posting 7.0 down and higher. keep in mind this is with no traffic.
Sure is nice to have a faster connection on my phone than my house. and boy are are the apple iphoners jealous at work........

So, September is the official month Orlando gets full-time working 4G?
Can you give us an idea of the coverage outside of Metro Orlando like how far out? Will Sanford, Deltona, Daytona, Deland, Haines City area, Clermont be getting 4G as well? Anymore info will be appreciated!
Heading up to the Wizarding World this weekend... looking forward to testing it out while waiting in line![]()
