How do I attach my own facebook pic to the next text messaging app?

So now that the threaded text messaging displays both the pic of the person your texting and your own display pic how do you get your phone to display your own facebook account picture to your messages just like it does to your facebook friends that text you or your texting? Cause it just displays that blank android pic for me.
 
i use handcent so it was simple. but i do have my profile pic showing up in the stock msg app somehow.

basically what i think i did was create a contact called "my phone" (having the number by your phone number) then went into my gmail account on the computer, and added the pic manually. and now it shows up.

you may also be able to do this with the app "syncmypics" or something like that. you will be able to link your facebook profile with the "my phone" contact and it should work for you.

now this is all speculation, like i said, i use handcent and it was super easy to add/change my picture on that.(tap empty photo box, and go from there) so just try it out and see if it works
 
Thanks, What I did was just make a contact of myself and add the pic from the gallery. I guess this isn't really syncing it from facebook but its somethin I guess.
 
Otherwise you just get a blank pic of the android, it looks bad. If its designed to have a pic in that spot why would you not want one there?
 
I changed my picture on google.com under settings, profile picture. When you change it there I changes it on the stock messaging application. Try that, it works for me.

Thats the right way to do it.
it also shows in latitude, buzz and gtalk :)
