I watched this thread obessive compulsively since before I ordered. Today as my first post. I'm happy to have gotten a tracking number.

Ordered: 8/12/10 over the phone with verizon continuity office. 8AM
No confirmation emails. No shipment emails.
Updated Order Status page finally shows shippment 8/23 8:26am with delivery 8/25.
Memphis to Tampa,FL

Finally!!!!
 
Ordered on the 13th around 2:30pm EST and just received my shipping confirmation. I guessed the 25th or 26th all along even though they said the 30th and will be receiving it on the 25th! Not too bad.
 
For fun, why not list how yours will come to you, I'll start-

From Ontario, CA to Oakland, CA by FedEx Plane.
From Oakland, CA to Sacramento, CA by FedEx Plane.
From Sacramento, CA to Ukiah, CA by FedEx Plane.
From Ukiah, CA out to Redwood Valley, CA via FedEx Delivery Truck.
 
How do I figure out what my order number is? I have my receipt and I see the Order location number, but no order number?
 
YAAY!!! I ordered my droid x on 8/17 and only 6 days later I got the email saying the shipped it out!!! HORAYY!!! now ill get it on the 25th hopefully. So has anyone else had this luck with there droid x shipment???
 
It shipped finally... I laughed at the progress of my Droid X. Mind you; I live 15 mins from Ontario.

Estimated Delivery: the 25th. I sure hope not, lol.

Yep, I know, I grew up not too far away from you in West Covina! I attended Sunkist Elementary (closed in 1978), Workman Avenue Elementary, Traweek Junior High School (now a middle school), and graduated from Covina High School in 1990. I was born in Riverside in 71, but grew up in West Covina, off of Puente Ave about a block from Covina High School.

I continue to have the same problem with the website. Tried the suggestion above with case sensitive..changing the first letter on the locator to either lower or uppercase...still no luck.

Very frustrating. Anybody else still having the same problems?

I wouldn't worry about it to much. You will get an e-mail once it ships, sometimes the website doesn't even update.
 
I still have never received an e-mail from Verizon.

Only found out it had shipped after using the online order status, and paying attention to the uppercase letter in the location.

Did you get an email originally when you ordered the phone? I got an email from Verizon saying, "Thank you for upgrading your phone...blah blah blah"

But when I put in my Order # and Location code (with the uppercase letter), I get a page that says, "Page is not currently available. There has been an error in processing your request. Using the Back button on your browser and resubmitting your request may solve the problem. If you are still not successful, please Contact Us for assistance."

I ordered on August 12, 2010.

No I did not receive any original e-mail. I ordered in store while setting up a brand new account, and I set up my online account afterwards.

Hey congrats! Finally :D But the 25th? Lol that really makes sense :rolleyes: *I know, I know, Verizon doesn't make sense :p

Mine's been stuck similarly sort of...

Me neither. And the last time I called CS they told me I would NOT receive email notification because none was entered when they placed the order :mad::(:mad::confused::mad:

So when I go to the online order status site I am still getting the "site is experiencing tech difficulties". ng - did you enter the location code first letter as upper or lower case (neither worked for me).

I ordered my phone on the 14th...and sounds like I have no way of knowing when it ships:mad::confused::(
 
I ordered 8/16 and shipped today for me as well. Ordered on corporate account, so don't know if that changes anything, but it will be here tomorrow. My boss actually made the order, but I believe it was done by phone. Shipping from the PA warehouse to MA. Much better than the 8/31 I was quoted, so I'm happy. Expected to be in my hands by 3PM on the 24th.
