On the standard power widget how did you get airplane mode and vibrate as an option?
Sweet, I went to the store and was trying to figure out how people did it on the standard haha. I'll just add that to my long list of apps to download when i get my X

I decided to update my look and go more simple...my wallpaper is actually the aquarium live wallpaper with a black background and just 1 turtle randomly swimming around
where can i get the phone call, message text, mail, etc icons? and how do i go about putting them on my DX (still waiting on it to ship)

All those icons are a custom icon pack which was provided with Fabolous' release of REVOlution
**Only for 2.1 update 1 - dont install this over 2.2 or you will brick your phone**
(which also allows for customization of the status bar etc.)
You can download the file here (all credit to Fabolous on this one
).
In order to change the dock as I have, you will need to download and use LauncherPro, which replaces the stock homescreen functionality.
Copy the icons and docks from the goodies folder from the zip file posted above onto your phone. After you have the icons somewhere on your phone's SD card, you will be able to select them as a custom icon as you change the dock icons.

Here is what I have now after applying NexTheme from Fabolous.
The first three are as they appear on my phone, the middle one is my home screen.
Lockscreen is WidgetLocker with Battery Left widget and Cal Widget
Clocks are beautiful widgets

Been checking out this thread for the last few weeks anxiously awaiting the arrival on by new Baby X Have shipment notification so should be here soon.
I of course want to dive in and get everything set up to look as great as some of the examples I have seen here. Curious if there is a "best practice" in getting the phone setup. Should I load up all the cool apps first and then a launcher and then start tweaking the design with screens, folder organizer, etc... Or get just the basics setup (email, music, etc...) with a basic format and a few screens and then add/tweak over time.
Just curious what others learned as they went thru the process of setting up their phone.

Love that design chrlswltrs! Curious if you need to be rooted and on Froyo to use most of your setup?
Also, nothing against the Cowboys but wondering if that is a stock design or you had to setup the wallpapers, etc. If it is a stock design are there other pro/college teams available?

I use(d) WidgetLocker, but it's not free. I don't use it any longer because I realized that I don't like using a lockscreen period. Lol

First off, the only thing about the design you have to be rooted for is the theme. That includes the black status bar and symbols in the status bar, the drop down menu and the different system font. Other than that you can set your phone up the same without being rooted.
I use LauncherPro Plus, Beautiful Widgets, Launch-X Pro, Switch Pro, BetterCut, WidgetLocker, and Battery Left Pro (right now the widget for the free version is the same). Those are all the paid apps that I have used that you can see here.
The wallpaper is just one that I downloaded using a google image search, the same with the cowboys players in the picture frames. For the wallpaper I just set it not to scroll which is one of the options in LauncherPro. The Cowboys icons are also from an image search and applied to other apps using BetterCut.
BTW, if you are looking to do an NFL theme I posted a zip file with all my ringtones here: http://androidforums.com/sports/123492-fantasy-football-7.html, I have a bunch of NFL ringtones that I rotate using ShuffleTone 2.0.
