dammit still not getting it here in flushing/college point while at work... hopefully that gearlog article stating september official release will be true

There is NO 4G in the eastern Jacaranda area of Plantation (University Dr between Broward Blvd and Sunrise Blvd).

Where in Plantation are (or were) you seeing 4G?

Any word on full roll out in Denver?

I've gotten a very weak and inconsistent 4G signal near Union and Simms in Lakewood, but have yet to actually see 4G in Arvada, or on I-70 out to DIA. Apparently, it's near Coors Field and parts of downtown right now, but still spotty.

I live 10 miles from Waukesha where did you get your Evo?
Actually I got mine in McHenry IL. After making many attempts as various BestBuys and Sprint stores, the salesperson at BestBuy Lake Geneva WI contacted the closest store and that the McHenry store in Illinois had two that just came in (white), I'm not fond of the white backplate but I covered it with a nice hard case that is black.

Side note: A Sprint rep from Crystal Lake IL. Told me that another device is coming out for the holidays. Doubt it but these are the specs she gave me:

Similar form factor as EVO
SUPER AMEOLED 4.3" screen (not sure on the resolution)
2ghz snapdragon
12mp rear camera
5-8mp front camera
better battery
Don't know if it is an HTC device but this is all speculation..

Hey guys, remember that they are just testing right now, so sometimes you will see 4G availability and sometimes there will be no 4G signal, so you might just be looking for signal at the wrong time.
But we should be there real soon

About two weeks ago I got one bar (out of 3) of 4G signal from the 27th floor of my building at work (downtown MPLS).

Then on Tuesday I got a full 3/3 bars on the bus in downtown MPLS. It held the signal until I got to south MPLS and then it dropped. I wouldn't say it's fully live yet but if you're in downtown MPLS, you should have no problem getting a very good signal.

Tried posting about this in the Cincinnati area and it was moved to the sprint carrier forum. Not sure why I'd repost it on this thread.

well i work / live in LA but my GF lives in OC. in the city of Orange near Angle stadium.. I dont get 4g at my house but i do by her house and my work in LA , about 2-3 bars max.. i drive the 57 freeway alot and get full bars in the city of fullerton and did some speed test 6371 and 1019 up.At work LAX 5766/ up 1016

I live in Waukesha WI just about 25 miles west of Milwaukee I have a feeling 4g will take it's sweet time for my area. When Sprint told me that I'll be paying an extra $10 for the 4g capabiltiy I thought it was wrong, since we do not have 4g in Wisconsin (yet?). I guess it is a way to pay for all those 4g towers. I'm hoping it will come soon.

From what I've been told, it's gonna be here summer of 2011.....

i grew up in college point. how's things?

despite reports of 4g in boston, nothing trickling out to cape cod just yet.

What was the point of merging the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale thread when it's not official and probably won't be for another couple months?

All "regional" 4G threads have been merged into this one for the sake of organization. Live cities, officially or unofficially, are welcome in discussion as well as rumored cities.

If you guys want to help me update the original post please PM me any areas I might have missed. Thanks :)

What's up with 4G in our area. I live in Richmond and around where I live I get 1 bar and speeds fluctuate from 1mbps to 3 mbps. When I travel to my jiu-jitsu class 10 miles away I get full bars and the speeds are basically the same. Seems like there's a 4mbps cap because it has yet to break 4.

I got full strength 4G on 95 driving through Richmond a few weeks ago.

Little help please :)

That is a hard question to answer..

There are currently no cities that have been fully built out and of course there will always be buildings that signals will not penetrate..

New York cities roll out will be a good test of the 4g signal, they are shooting for a very high in building penetration there around 65-75%. It also will be one of the best Clearwire 4g roll out to date.

If this is accomplished then it, will be a good sample of what is possible..

After 4g goes live in NY after 30-60 days the reviews by users should give you a good answer..

I do think indoor penetration will eventually be alot better than what people currently experience it to be
