Will 2.2 come to Fascinate?

All I hope Samsung will no do what they did to the Behold II. They said they would update Android 1.5 to 2.0. They backed out and said they will only upgrade to 1.6 or 1.7.

Its launching with 2.1. However I am quite sure it will get 2.2 and even 3.0.

my apologies, I just had read over the specs for the G2, got them confused, but I want this phone! I'll give up my incredible in a heartbeat for a more beautiful screen and a better battery.

According to several reports I have read, 2.2 is suppose to be released for the Galaxy S line by the end of September.

I know that what Samsung did to Behold 2 was pretty bad.
But, who in their right mind actually bought that thing? I don't know of anyone.

Pretty sure they won't do what they did with the Behold, I mean they did put a lot into their Galaxy S phones. I'm pretty sure if they don't follow through with support it'd be ******ed on their part. I'm just assuming though

I think if they do what they did with the behold it will be the last time people buy a samsung phone. I know they make alot of other products but that would still be a big hit if people wont even consider a samsung.

Take it with a grain of salt, but according to the Best Buy folks, the phone will be launch with 2.1. but Froyo upgrade will be available as OTA almost right away.

Based on what I have read, Froyo will be released officially this month. So what the Best Buy people have said do make sense.

Lets just hope. September is when it is supposed to be released so hopefully they it stays that way.
