I got it yesterday, but I must be missing something because I'm not seeing anything new. Well besides a couple new apps that I will never use.

No new lockscreen, no new icons...I can't tell if it's 720p or not
and flash isn't working either

Weird. I think your update was defective. My Incredible made me breakfast this morning.

How can we tell/test if the Flash is working?

while you are in the camcorder app click the little arrow on the left, tap video, then tap the settings icon (gears), resolution, 720P.
now your in 720P mode :)
i haven't tried recording with it but was very happy when i found the setting :)

ya i havent really noticed much difference with mine either.
gmail app looks nicer but i havent seen any improvements really.
 
I am in the back of the line for Froyo.

Have changed the date to everything from now until September 30 2012.

The only thing that hasn't changed is 2.1

Hate being last.

When I tried to do the date change I got nothing. I put the date back to today and all of the sudden I got a bunch of emails that I had gotten yesterday. Weird.
 
Wow, Froyo just keeps getting better. I can now stream John Sterling calling the Yankee Games perfectly with my Gameday Audio subscription on MLB.com. With 2.1 it sounded like chipmunks talking.
 
Nevermind I had an old version of 10.1 that wouldn't let me update so I downloaded a different version and updated that now everything works. on both Dolphin HD and the stock

AppBrain tells me I have a Flash update waiting but then it doesn't work. That said, my Flash still seems to be working just fine.

Where'd you download a different version from?
 
i got my update yesterday at somepoint, didnt notice it til later though as i didnt check my phone for a 6 hour stretch. oops.

everything is running good for me, no factory reset was done since i just got back a replacement incredible about 2 weeks ago so it hasnt had much on it for very long.
 
I got the update acouple days ago. It puts a banner on the screen that you have to accept or instaall later. The install took about 30 minutes to complete including the couple of reboots and downloadiung and installs.

- I noticed it changed my alram tones to something else not the ones I had selected before the update.
- My speaker now is broken for some reason. It use to play music nice and clear and now it is all distorted at all volume settings. Using ear phones it is fine so it is the speaker. May not be update related but I noticed it after the update. I listen to music and Slacker and all ways are garbled now throught he speaker. Guess I need a new phone.
- 720p is a setting now in video
- flash is incredible, nice and smooth and it plays all of the flash now not just selective ones.
- My lock/unlock toggle for enabling the screen pattern without having to reset the pattern is now broken. It just makes you reset the pattern each time now. Paint in the butt. Re-loading the widget did not help.
- Toggle screen timeout wiget is also broken as it just force closes now.
- Probably some other stuff does not work too.
- Oh it shows the DROID Eye ball and says DROID on power up now along with a specs graphic screen before that.


Got to get my speaker fixed. It is horrible.


Update: I called verizon and they had me reprogram *228 option 1, it did not help then I talked to tech support and they said the update has no issues with speaker and actually it fixed some issues so they are FEDx'ing me a replacement phone from HTC out overnight. Hope it is in good shape.
 
I did the RUU the other day so I didn't vote that I got the OTA. Today my daughter's incredible got her OTA so I voted for her.
 
I'm curious (apologies if someone already posted this), but the only thing that is not stock on my phone is that I have S-OFF. Anyone here with S-OFF that has received the OTA?
 
Received FroYo around 12:40 a.m. this morning near Dayton, Ohio. Took 10 minutes to install and everything is running beautifully (no factory reset). I didn't pull my SD card but no problems there - it recognized it instantly. Played around with the flash over at m.flash.com; works great. Can hear calls just fine through the earpiece and speaker, quality excellent. I never had any call quality issues in the first place, though. Swype works, though there was a lag at first. Seems to be catching up the more I use it. The phone does run noticeably faster, as does the Dolphin browser. I don't really know about the stock browser as I don't use it. The new widgets are nice. I'm not exactly sure what new wallpaper we were given, I've always used a custom one from my gallery. I switched from EVRC to EVRC-B awhile ago and the update came through just fine in case that is a worry for anyone. The LED flashlight is spectacular! Screen flips right or left now and I haven't had to recalibrate it. I have yet to play with the FM Radio or record video but the 720p is there as promised. Finally, battery talk. I was on 50% when the OTA came through, about 43% when it was done. After playing around with 2.2 for a bit (new startup is gorgeous, by the way) I slapped my Incredible on the charger. The charge didn't seem to take any linger than normal. I didn't time it, but when I saw it about an hour later, the light was green. Personally, I feel battery life is actually a smidge better. I'm a rather heavy user and am at 40% right now since the charge last night/early this morning and have been using it pretty consistently for the past four hours. Stock battery.

Overall, very happy! 2.2 is... Incredible!
