Root What ROM are you using?

Virtuous2.5 kingBFS#2 its running quite nicely so far!
I'm running the exact same setup and I feel the same way about it. Everything seems functional, i dont have all that bloatware junk clogging up my memory (well friendstream and the stuff that goes with it is still there but I can just remove that myself). It's very convenient that new virtuous roms can be flashed right over the old ones without wiping, it saves me a lot of time.

There was nothing wrong with that argument. It helps us determine how software/hardware works.

That argument was very helpful to me.

Sigh.

flashed over old ones without wiping? Does it have to be the same Rom?

Virtuous 2.6 Rom, Stock Kernal, 2.15 Radio, Incredible Revolution Theme, Handcent mod on rosie, Manup's alt_font.

I love my phone so much more right now. It looks a lot more sleek.

I'm using Skyraider Vanilla with the stock kernel. Tried just about everything else, but I kept going back to Skyraider. It's the best, IMO.

The girlfriend has MIUI on hers. She loves everything except for the fact that she can't send calls to voicemail.

R2DoesInc OMGB v4 (2.3 Gingerbread built from source) it has Invisiblek #21 Kernel baked in. You guys should definitely try it!

I'm unfamiliar with this voicemail issue on MIUI?

I'm using Cyanogen 6.1 with Invisiblek #21 kernel with excellent battery life.

Virtuous 3.2.0. I wanted a mostly stock ROM without the bloat, and for the most part, this does it. SetCPU has done wonders for battery life.

This! I can go through about 16 hours with light usage ( a couple calls, some texting, a little internet browsing, etc) and still have over 50% left. Now CM with the stock kernel is a different story. It would use about 1 percent a minute lol...

Well, I'm constantly switching back a forward right now, but atm I'm running HIUI, but I'm downloading Lithium NG as we speak.

I'm really just running through as many of them as I can for a while, just to check them out, see what I like. Of course, I haven't gotten too much into customizing any of the ones that I've used, just been taking them stock.

CM 6.1 daily driver, MIUI, Ruby 2.0.0, Lithium Mod & ShadowROM, constantly switching between these 5. Running Invisiblek #21 on all of them.

MIUI with Koush Test 2. Pretty and outstanding battery life, but the ROM is still buggy. Waiting for Skyraider Athena to be fixed, but I might try OMBG in the meantime.

Hey guys, long time reader first time poster...

I am currently running the Gingerbread Deck 1.3 for Incredible ROM with a 2.6.37.7 Cyanogenmod+ kernel.

It works great for the most part. Battery life is amazing with the included overclocking/underclocking features.

ZERO bloat...

Only gripe I have is the sounds... ringer works 10% of the time and notifications don't work at all.

I have been tinkering with it, but have not really had time to figure it out.

I just rooted and flashed a rom for the first time tonight. I'm now running Desired Inc HD 3D, v5 from xda-developers ([ROM][StangRoms] Desired Inc HD 3D Vfive [Updated:20Sep2011] - xda-developers. I note that it says not to install any other kernels- what are kernels? (I apologize if this isn't the right place for this question!)

Also, this ROM seems a bit sluggish to me. Has been stable thus far (only a few hours though), but seems to be running a little slow, wifi seems slow, and my signal strength seems weaker than it was stock or downgraded to 2.2. What criteria do people use for selecting a ROM, and where can I find the ROMs that have been mentioned in here?
