Ordered at a Verizon store 8/24 around 8pm.
Finally got shipment info today - should arrive Tuesday!

I started getting worried when I saw people who ordered around the same day (and after) getting shipment notifications. After reading through all the replies in this thread it seems like west coast people are getting theirs quicker!
 
I ordered my phone like three or four days ago and haven't even gotten an email with shipping information. Kinda jealous y'all got yours almost instantly too. I'm located near Fredericksburg VA so idk whats taking so long if y'all are getting yours.

You should have at least got a confirmation e-mail after you ordered.

You can go online to get the status of when it will ship by.
 
Has anyone ordered from Amazon.com? I placed an order on Thursday morning (9/2) and the original screen had said 1-2 weeks (corresponds to verizon's estimate). However when I finished placing the order the delivery estimate was October 14!

Definitely making me a little nervous
 
So I got my e-mail from Verizon today. My 2 Droid X's shipped today. FedEX 2nd day. So they have an estimated date of Wednesday. I cant wait.
 
DELETED......WRONG SHIP NOTIFICATION....DANG IT! That was a ship notification for an accessory I ordered earlier in the day... Back to wait Mode......DANG IT!
 
As I suspected, they're ahead of schedule. Must have had a big inventory influx. Ordered 8/23 and got it today. I'm outta here...enjoy peeps!
 
I ordered mine on the 22nd and at the time she said it would be shipped on the 24th. On the 24th I received an email that said it would be shipped by 9/7. Good thing I didn't stay home from work.

Finally on Wed, Sept 1 I received the shipping email and it arrived yesterday. Almost a week before their estimate.
 
i ordered mine while on vacation in Hawaii, (my LG crapped out), on Aug. 25. and it was already delivered on Sept. 1... (too bad i didnt get back until Sept 2.)

they did send me two emails.. the first was right after i ordered it, and they said it would be two weeks... then another that stated it shipped on Aug. 31th. (the email was dated Aug. 30)


either way, i have been up all night last nite playin with it... damn, i am confused... but that isnt surprising for those that know me... heheheh

(there was a time when i was the goto guy for fixin' folks pc's ... not anymore)

My dad ordered his on 8/21 with an expected ship date of 9/7--he got his on 9/1.

I ordered mine yesterday 9/3, with an expected ship date of 9/16. Here's hoping we're both as lucky as he was and they come a week early!! I can't wait!!

its cool. Rookie mistake;) a tip for ya... when you type the title to your new thread it will populate a list of threads that have similar wording to yours. before you post your new thread, read thru those threads to see if your question has been asked or addressed. Also, as in this instance, if you go to the moto X forum and click search this forum and type in a key word like "shipping" It will bring up a list of threads about that key word. same thing there. I myself don't get to snippy towards the noobs starting multiple threads, but some people do. And I don't like letting those people run off the young bloods.
 
Just ordered mine yesterday, 9/4, with an estimated ship date of 9/17. I really don't want to have to wait that long haha. Well, hopefully it ships earlier like many on here!

I was told to order online... for just that reason.... the stores were not going to be getting the phones for at least a month...

ordering online would be 'two weeks', (or less obviously)


Good luck.. it is definately worth the wait, and i am not a big 'techno' geek...

but, ordering in the store puts you in the same queue as if you had ordered online. it makes no difference if you order online/in store/on the phone. there are other factors, but where you order is not one of them.

when you order in the store, you are not placing yourself in line for the next phone to come in the store, you're getting in line for the next shipment to come to the warehouse.
