Ordered 9/7, Shipping Date 9/20...

Im glad I read this thread because I have really high hopes that Ill get mine earlier than the 20th, hopefully 10 days earlier like ive read from some...=) Im also glad to see Im not alone on my obsession.. I ordered it Tuesday afternoon and I was already checking the website Wednesday morning to see if any change.. I always get the newest phone out and Ive never had to wait on a phone like this.. I dont know how to handle myself..haha
 
Ordered 30th last month.
Promised ship by date was 10th which is tomorrow.
Still no email. No phone.
I'm starting to get worried.

My order date was the 31st with a ship date of the 14th by VZW because of high popularity with the item and now everyone on my coast is getting theirs even in my state and I haven't heard squat. If you don't hear anything by tomorrow I'd call and just be like hey what's going on, haven't heard from you in awhile sort of deal.
 
I ordered at a Verizon store on 8/29. Was told at that time it would ship by 9/10. Last Sunday received an email saying it had shipped. Due to the Labor Day holiday it was delayed so it actually got shipped on Tuesday. It's on the FEDEX truck out for delivery today. I'll end up getting it one day before the quoted shipping date.

Just because you haven't been contacted by Verizon, this DOES NOT mean that your phone has not been shipped. I still haven't received an email from VZW, and my Droid X is out for delivery today. I only know this because I checked my order status on the Verizon website, despite the store manager telling me that I would not be able to do so.

Yea, I'm checking the website since I'm not the primary on our account and I'm getting nothing from Verizon. But I even heard one poster say that his Droid X just showed up one day kinda like some of his prior phones. He got no notice no nothing and it just showed up.
 
OK, I know I'm obsessing too much, but what time of day did you all receive your confirmation emails? Does Verizon send them through out the day or only once--like at the start or end of the business day?

I'm not able to get to a computer for most of my work day, so I'm checking right before I leave and as soon as I get back. So I was wondering if the email could come at any time.

It really sucks being surrounded by people with Droids and iPhones and I'm stuck in the dark ages with my LG enV until my X gets here.:rolleyes:
 
Mine SHIPPED! Suppose to be here on the 20th but Im going to get mine on the 10th.. Im so in love with Verizon right now..haha

I still haven't gotten a tracking number and I ordered it the 31st..

I got my screen protector.. I got my extended battery.. but no phone..

Same here. VA. But a bunch of ppl who live on the East Coast, like in PA and Maryland who ordered days after us have already received or are receiving their phones today or in the next two days. I have gotten no notification email, no tracking number, nada. It's irritating me that there really is no system to this. At least no system that is obvious to me.

What the heck? I ordered mine several days before that and so far--nothing!! I know there's people who ordered before me who have heard nada as well. I hate that there appears to be no system or pattern for this!:mad:

Edit: I just checked on the Verizon site and where it once said "Your order is being processed. Please check again tomorrow."

I now have this Bull Crap: "Due to overwhelming inventory demands, your DROID X by Motorola order will ship on 09/17/2010"

Granted that's the original date they stated, but we all know they've pretty much been shipping 7-10 days early. Verizon--you suck!!
