LG Air Sync / PC Suite IV Software

Mine came preloaded on the SD card? USB mount, then browse the SD Card > PC Suite directory, and install it from there.

Does any of that AirSync stuff work? or just the pc connectivity?
 
The phone is good but the LG website is rubbish. I had trouble finding and installing the PC suite. Doesnt install on Vista just hangs. I will try the link above. Thanks for posting

hey Dudeman, How did u overclock your fone? using CyanogenMod 6.1.1?
any stability issues? will it void the fone's warranty?

Tinderbox, Thanks for providing this link! I had spent several hours searching while cursing LG....:mad:

Rather than double-posting perhaps some of the readers here would be interested in another thread that includes discussion of the LG PC Suite: http://androidforums.com/lg-optimus-gt540/319238-sd-card-problem.html#post2585801 - Check messages in mid April, 2011.

In summary: Suite 4 can up/download music/photos/video, BUT contacts/calendar can only be sync'd if you happen to use MS Outlook (what a dumb move by LG!) The good news is that MobileEdit! indeed works on the GT540, even though it is not listed among the supported phones - check out this other thread.

If anyone is interested, I have found that "My Phone Explorer" is great for syncing the phone with my PC and for backing things like contacts up on the PC. It even works when you have upgraded to 2.2 or 2.3.

thanks! i found it there to but then when i try to sync it it says to put my phone on pc suite mode... any idea where to find it?
 
in most cases lg pc suit does not work due to driver problem.it can be solved easily with windows 7 .
 
I've downloaded and installed the software in my PC. but I can't connect it to my Optimus. What should I do?
It says that the PC suite can't find the phone.
