Accessories Otterbox

Hey guys i will be selling my otterbox commuter case minus the screen protector it is a quality case but i just did not like the size and feel of it. I picked up the speck case from verizon about an hour ago and i like it much better so the otterbox will wind up on ebay if anyone is interested.

dude thats BS, I went to local Verizon store and got this awesome case for 16.99$ the edges you can actually use its perfect. can barely tell its there.

Yeah when I asked for my refund via email, I "magically" received my "order shipped" email. What a crock. :rolleyes:
 
I had commuter for Eris, it was great for that phone, I feel it would be too bulky for the Incredible...
 
I received my Otterbox Commuter today and I must say its the nicest case I have ever had, let alone the best case for the Incredible. I plan to do a comparison thread/review in the next few days of all the cases I have. Stay tuned!
 
I received mine yesterday. I really like the case. I actually like that it adds a small amount of bulk to the phone. It feels better in my hand now. It actually feels protected. Though, I did not use the screen protector that came with the case (I already had an Invisishield installed), the case fits fine.

My only small grip is the slick feel of the plastic backing. I like the slightly textured feel of the original back. But, it does slide in and out of my pocket with ease now.

Glad I went ahead and got this one instead of waiting for the Defender.

I'd be interested in hearing about the thickness of the Otterbox compared to the Active from a hands-on perspective.

I think there about the same, but the Otterbox feels a touch thicker in the hand just because it doesnt have the "race car" shape to the back anymore.

Honestly, there is no comparison between the two. Otterbox quality blows Seidio right out of the water in every way with this case.

How easily does the phone with the Otterbox case fit into your pocket (pants, shirt)?

Well thats another thing I should have mentioned. Even though the Active and the Otterbox are similar in design, the Active was a pain to slide in and out of my pocket. The rubber was catching my pocket and it would pull my pocket out everytime I took the phone out. The Otterbox doesnt do this.

Another huge + if you ask me. And dont get my wrong, the Active is my second favorite case, but the Otterbox takes it to another level.

I ordered mine last Thursday evening from Nakedcellphone on ebay. It got here Saturday Morning. This case is absolutely fantastic! I love the feel. I like the way the phone is cradled in the silicone inner layer(as opposed to the hard plastic inner of the Defender) with the outer shell plastic. This makes this case super solid IMO.

I have to admit that i am a bit of a case whore. I will buy and try out all kinds of cases til i find one i like. The Commuter is at the top. The quality of materials, and the fit are top-notch!

I have certain needs in a case because of my profession, and this case meets them all! I am sold.
 
i had the compuuter for the iphone and didnt like it cause of the silicone would come loose all the time on the sides and corners cause on the iphone design the plastic backing only held on the top and bottom. if the plastic is covering the silicone then i may get one i have the speck candyshell and thats nice but i loved how the buttins are easier to press with an otterbox. espically the power button.

on the otterbox website pics it looks like only the sides have the plastic but its hard to tell can anyone confirm this?
