email, exchange, froyo, and password change...

I had an interesting experience:

1. force updated to froyo FRG01B
2. got email to work with corporate exchange server
3. force updated to froyo FRG22D
4. email still working
5. 2 weeks later, had to change password due to corporate policy
6. email no longer works, can't change password on the phone,
dies with "force close" option
7. factory reset
8. can't configure email to work at all
9. had to download "improved email" to get it working

Interesting that only when I had to change password
before it blew up.

I just had the exact same experience on my Samsung Epic 4G. WOrked great until password change, and now get FCs. I tried deleting the account and re-adding it, but am still having the same problem.

Anyone resolve this? Bueller? Bueller?
