Some pics coming out distorted

I took some pics today and most of them came out distorted...almost like a partial fish-eye...people are stretched wide.

Anyone seen anything like this?

thats kind of strange...

The phones currently have a focusing issue, so a lot of pictures come out blurry, but i havent seen any that were stretched.

But they are going to be fixing the focusing issue very soon

This could be an effect of the rolling shutter used by camera phones. Where you moving the phone or was the subject moving while you took the picture?

Thanks, Bill...I'll look back at the images and see if I can confirm if it looks like that issue.

Looking at two pics of the same people I took, one focused, one not, and the focused one is showing the distortion, while on the blurry one there isn't any distortion.

thanks for that Bill...after I noticed some pictures being just barely distorted...just enough to barely be noticeable, and then it's totally annoying. And sure enough, each picture was slightly distorted because I couldn't keep the camera steady enough. I was worried this was a major issue. Well, it is, but nothing that is inherently wrong or malfunctioning.
