Way to delete words from texting dictionary

On the evo section on this site I found out how to delete words from texting dictionary?
settings/language & keyboard/touch input/user dictionary :)
No offence, but that's nothing new...the ability to delete or add words to the built-in dictionary has been there for a while. Perhaps it moved a bit with an update...I don't recall if it was in a different setting location before.

Slightly OT but does anyone have a working solution for backing up the user dictionary ?

I know MYBackup Pro says it does but it's never successfully backed-up the dictionary for me.

Titanium Backup-the best solution to backup anything. But I guess it needs Root.

Thanks :) I did have Titanium when I was rooted on 2.1 but unfortunately my phone was updated to 2.2 whilst away for repair so sadly it's not really an option now.
