Bricked Captivates

Will AT&T replace bricked Captivates if they are outside of the 30 day zone?

AT&T won't but Samsung might if you can convince them it wasn't from your own doing.

i called samsung and told them what happened, the indian girl i talked to didnt understand that the update bricked my phone as she told me to plug in my phone and call back later if it didnt work (im not that dumb lady). but i shipped it to them last week, they got it today and maybe ill get a new one soon. i doubt they go through the trouble of trying to fix them

Why don't you just flash back to stock and reinstall everything? I haven't met anyone who actually bricked their captivate...

1) Lots of people have actually bricked their Captivate, which you'll see as you read the forum more.

2) The Odin "one click" flash back to "stock" isn't quite as "stock" as people were lead to believe. A lot of people are finding problems afterwords, including being unable to install OTA updates.
