USA Samsung on facebook

GREAT IDEA!!!!!!! I just jumped on the page and saw A LOT of people bitching already about the GPS. This is gonna be good..... Hopefully we'll get some results and info on future updates.

It's funny (or maybe not) that a few week ago Samsung USA on facebook would actually respond to peoples complaints, but now there are so many of them that they don't even
bother. And no, the Galaxy S has not received 2.2 in any country, so I'm sure that means that we won't be getting it for at least 1-2 months from now at best.

Even though my GPS now works, this will be my last Samsung product. Not just phone, but anything from Samsung. Just a horrible job of releasing a product that is not ready for prime time.

Motorola and HTC have been much more responsive in addressing issues and issuing Froyo updates with their Android phones.

i'm going to wait and see how it goes but it looks like I'll dump the Captivate for an IPhone4 or any other good Android phone AT&T might come out with in the next 6 months. Just drove around again today, GPS all over the place and the startup takes anywhere from 3 to 5 mins (time to lock). I'm done with Samsung, so glad I bought a Sony TV.

Anyone else notice the facebook page claims
Samsung ServiceThe Samsung Captivate's GPS performance update is now available!!

Look for a notification from ATT & simply download the file to update your phone. This will be pushed OTA by ATT over the next few weeks starting today.

The update also improves other device functions, such as media scanning time, adds the full version of Quickoffice and addresses Microsoft Exchange 2003 policy support.last Wednesday

Bwahhahahaha what a load of crap!

They are not even good at lying, this is so sad it's not even funny anymore. Their support personnel contradicts each other, AT&T support doesn't know what's in the update and the list goes on and on.

You have to first click on the "Like" at the top before you can post on the wall, this is standard functionality for FB.

Sweet, already complained about Froyo...did it even come out for the UK like they stated?

Are you serious?

They haven't said anything about Froyo in the United States, you can't bitch about something they haven't talked about....fail.

Samsung's Twitter account has not replied since last Thursday, can you say "Things aren't going as planned". The Facebook page seems to be going down the same path, they are not responding to any threads other than TV related ones.
