Root my epic runs at 1.2 ghz. does yours?

i'm using the same kernel. dev claims due to undervolting you will actually get BETTER battery life. mine does seem slightly better.

Is this safe to do? I'm very tempted!

I have yet to have an issue BUT others have stated they have had problems...I think as long as you start from scratch, by using Odin to flash you back to stock ROM & Kernel you should have no issues at all, hope this helps

I would love to try that kernel out but I know it requires a donation, so I'll just wait until one with a GPL comes out.

I was actually able to sign up w/o a donation but after having installed it I gladly made a small donation on my own due to the awesomeness of his work!

That's too much work for me to do atm. I've already hard reset a few weeks ago and don't have time again to start from scratch. Guess ill wait for a froyo leak to try overclocking

I hear you, I startd with Noobnl's ROM and really didn't want to have to start ALL over again with installing my apps and configuring my settings but trust me broda it was well worth it :D ... I agree though, Froyo should def have us all zipping on up there real soon anyways
