So is there anyway to get an apk for a facebook app that will allow syncing? I really need this feature. Or how would I get the BLUR FB apk so that I can sync? I would prefer not to put any BLUR back on the phone.

The Blur FB sync is there. What I was referring to is that it automatically syncs all your contacts. There's no choice to sync only those that are already in your contacts.

Thanks, I just tried. I installed the backupassistanceclient.apk from 2.3.15. When you open the app it closes instantly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Installing now. Let's see how it goes. I have been running FlyX so I imagine this will be a vast improvement. Thanks for this ROM!
 
I got a notification that my SU is outdated. What should I do to update it? It allows me to run all my su programs though??? Any thoughts?
 
I am also getting permissions denied when I try and remove apps like the NFSShift.apk in the terminal emulator.

Here is what I type and the end result:
$NFSShift -rm
NFSShift -rm: permission denied

Any suggestions there? Other than it not having LPP I like it. I think I am going to reinstall LPP. I hope that doesn't slow it down. It is flying right now!!

I used Titanium Backup to remove the apps I didn't want and it worked fine
 
Yes, I have TI installed and used it in the past. I was just wanting to try something new and the terminal emulator seems so easy. I'd still like to know what I am doing wrong. I also just installed the hotfix but it didn't alleviate my issue.

*edit* That was it, but now it can't find nfsshift...oh well. At least I now know to type su. lol
 
I took some bits and pieces from this ROM (mms.apk and music mod) I like it a whole lot more than the stock apps. Thanks!
 
Anyone have any knowledge or luck on installing the dlna app? I've tried dlna.apk and dlnasystemservice.apk and it doesn't show up in app drawer.

What are you using to install the apk? If you are using root explorer, make sure you change the user permissions.
 
I am loving this ROM but the status bar is killing me. I really like the BigDXSerenity themes, but I don't want to put a lot of crap back on the phone that is now removed.

Can anyone recommend a good theme for at least the status bar? I like NexTheme, but I need something until Fab has that theme ready for this ROM.
