Root SkyRaider 3.3 Final

Wow looks like ihtfp69 pulled out all the stops on this one incorporating some DHD elements as well. The Inc ROM scene is rockin'!! :D
 
I'm on IncDoes New Sense theme. Does SkyRaider have all the perks of the new sense? HTC Hub, sync with HTCSense.com, etc??
 
the only features I notice from the new sence is the recent programs in the notification, the clock the flips and the hibernate/hot boot feature... its very stable and fast so far for me...
 
just installed it, but how come I don't have the messager anymore? I can only send text by google voice, but people text me to my phone I can't receive them???

btw, I installed the last few rom by using RM, and I chose backup current rom and install the new one. Is wipe and install the better way to do this? since I saw people talking about some issue about install w/o wipe?

I tried flashing this ROM and it hung forever on the Droid Incredible slash screen. Finally had to battery pull and restore. Did this happen to anyone else?
 
wowwwww damnit!! I just flashed back to 3.2 and got everything setup perfectly, about an hour ago now i see this lol

ahh well, here i go again hehe

Sense 3.3 Requires a FULL WIPE due to the changes!! When using Titanium restore applications ONLY and no SYSTEM DATA!!
 
Also may be worth noting that when I updated to the latest ClockworkMod and tried to install this ROM, it kept hanging and not installing properly. I downgraded to a previous version and it worked fine, but keep it in mind. Would have saved me about an hour of head scratching if I'd have known.
 
I guess I got lucky with this, but I did a "test run" and updated to it from 3.2 without doing the wipe (did a nandroid backup in case), and although it took 15 minutes or so on the first boot, it has been flawless since.
 
I have tried about 5 or 6 roms, i have to say i am really impressed with this one. Check my post history, i havent said that before haha

I did a complete wipe, and installed all apps fresh. Then i flashed KK #5

This thing is smooth as butter!!! Works perfect from what i can tell, and ive done some fooling around with it.

I'm also running this rom and loving it. Please let me know why I would want to go with KK #5

I have no idea honestly lol. I think this ROM came with stock kernal, i just tossed KK #5 assuming it has to be better than stock haha. But i really dont know.

UPDATE

I made the above post with slight hesitation, assuming id go the usual 24-48hrs before finding 1 too many bugs i couldnt deal with, and having to switch rom's again.

Well i have to say, i still havent found ONE thing i dont like about this rom!! The speed is perfect, the UI is smooth and flawless, not a single bug that i can find.

I have used just about everything with the exception of BT.

I am in the same boat man. This ROM just works and it works well. I already shot the author a donation for his hard work. You don't have to give much, but please give a little bit if you like the ROM.
 
Nah, don't worry about it. They are not extremely friendly over there, nor are they mean, they just don't have much personality. They don't ban or have mods like here that scrutinize everything you post. But it is a great resource.
