Downloads stop when screen goes off

Morning all,

Do a lot of downloading of mixes etc on my phone and find that a lot of the time if I leave it the download fails. If I sit there and touch the screen now and again to stop it switching off then it works every time. Its over wifi btw.

Is anyone else having this issue and also does anyone else know how to sort this?

hello , sorry for my english but I think you will get the point , and I need to translate form polish to egnlish menu ...

settings -> nettwork WiFi connections -> WiFi settings -> Then press menu button go to the Advanced Settings -> and press the Legitimate of turn off WiFi connections -> and you can chose, turn off after 15min/ Never turn off when connected/ or just NEVER ...

Thanks for the reply Akira. Your English is great don't worry

I never knew that menu existed but just check and it was already set to never turn off. Going to try to set my browser to stay on while using it as maybe that is the issue.
