Like the game but is there a way to hide the music and video files used by this game from displaying in my music or video player? New to android so apologize if this is a "you should know this" question. thanks.

Video's get downloaded from an external source.
The game then stores them on the SD card.
Whenever you open your gallery it searches your SD card for video's / music / pictures.
Which means that the gallery will find the battle bears video's etc.

Don't know if it can get fixed though :p

yeah, found the files. i tried putting them in a folder that the player will bypass (ie. ".videos" file name) but unfortunately by doing this, it also hides the videos from the game also. it's just a pain especially on the music player when I'm listening and then suddenly get the game music playing. I sent an email to developer to see if any other options. thanks.

You can put a .nomedia file in the folder, and the phone won't automatically add them to the gallery, the music player and all those other media apps. Doing this might cause the game to re-download the files, but it should be ok after that. For more info on the .nomedia file read this How to hide non-music audio files from appearing in Android media players | andrew | Androinica
(that was the first google result for it, there are several topics in the forum too).

Did try this first but found that although the players don't see the files, neither does the application and results in a redownload of the files. I did contact the developer and they are going to fix the issue in their next update. thanks.

I'll be working on that music showing up in your media player thing today. Thank you all for your feedback.

@toomie05: What kind of phone are you using?

Okay, so today was productive. I got the media thing working so that it won't show up in your media player (I think).

I didn't upload the build, however, because I'm also trying to make the game work with Cyanogen Mod.

I hope that's good news for you all, lol. I'll be working on this again on Monday.
