Accessories Want To Add A Hardware Keyboard?

Let me start by saying I don't have one of these, but for those that do a lot of typing with their Vibrant this may be a good solution. $20.80 shipped seems like a bargain, if you need one.

It is a 49 key compact, rechargeable, wireless/bluetooth QWERTY keyboard for Android (et al) phones. DealExtreme: $20.80 49-Key Mini Rechargeable Bluetooth Wireless QWERTY Keyboard for Android/Windows/Symbian/iPhone

That it is, I'm seriously considering getting one at that price just to play with. And it will work across 3 platforms on many devices.

This actually looks pretty good. The reviews aren't bad as well and it works with many devices. I might actually get it for that price.

I have a Palm BT keyboard that I used to use with my T|X. I have not been successful connecting it to my Vibrant. It is an HID device so should work with the BlueInput driver but no go so far. I can get it paired but the driver still doesn't see it.

Cheers,
Jim

Does anyone know if you can mount this to the phone? i would love to buy this only if i could :)

Why not? All you would need would be some adhesive backed Velcro that way you could still access the battery compartment on the keyboard. It would be very custom.

I'm not absolutely sure about the dimensions but it would probably look something like this:

LOL, Why?

"Ours is not to reason why..." And I do think the Velcro solution is far better than Gorilla Glue...

If it were glued on you would have to stand in front of a mirror and learn to read backwards just to send a text message.

I would just like to say that this thread is hilarious and made me lol x)

but you guys missed an important feature! "-Sensitivity: up to 10m"!!!
I wish I could text from across the room :/ better start saving...
