Just got the email about 15 min ago. The Defender for the HTC EVO is available adn they have a $5 off coupon code in the email.
 
Not sure what coupon was in the email since i have yet to receive mine yet. Maybe it went to the spam folder, who knows. But if anyone is interested or just too lazy to google, you can get $5 off plus free shipping with this coupon code: tb1010y
 
How does the built in screen protector work. I have to change my screen protector all the time due to scratches and stains from being in my pocket , things falling on it at work etc. can you change the screen protectror on these. Just curious.

i used my discount code MEMUEVO5 (case sensitive) plus the above code and received free shipping and 10% discount along with the $5.00 off total cost was $40.45

order placed, now just wait for case...........
 
I just placed my order. It was tough to decide between this case and the ballistic case. Otterbox wins because it is here now.

Thanks for the extra coupon code, I did not expect to be able to stack them. $40.45 and on the way with free shipping. Hope to see it by Saturday but Monday is more realistic.

This is sorta what I was wondering as well. I gave up on the Otterbox when I learned the screen protector is built into the case.
 
No, I had hopes for Otterbox but the Commuter case did not live up to their standards and seemed rushed to meet the high demand, the defender doesn't look that sexy, it looks like a tire, and the price is a little ridiculous compared to what Trident is asking and the Ballistic cases. So I purchased a Trident Cyclops, and they are hinting and a possible Kraken release as well if more hype for the case builds....Trident is a strong company coming out of the gates and their cases look amazing!
 
After buying the seidio rugged case combo I swore I wouldn't buy the defender. I placed my order at 7:30am after I got the email this morning. I'm so weak, I couldn't resist...

Just weird that it didn't show up when I searched...and how is it so much cheaper? Does it come with the holster/belt clip too?

Yes the defender comes with the holster.

If you read the customer review of that seller, they are quite displeased with the long waits that apparently are longer than promised. The price sounds too good to be true. Im getting mine direct from the source and with the double coupon codes listed in this thread, that will put me at a guranteed arrival of my purchase for just $6 more than that spooky listing with the bad reviews. Just my thoughts on it.
 
Has anyone that has orded the defender from OB seen their order show up in the order status page yet? I was just wondering casue I orderd mine at like 7am and still nothing has shown up.

From Otterbox on Facebook-" Word from Web Otters is that orders aren't lost and will be processed shortly. Our system is working a bit slowly today due to the volume of EVO fans!"
Way slowly,had mine in before noon and it still doesn't show in my account history. Hopefully it'll ship Thursday.

I doubt it will ship today because of the holiday. I had my order in at 7:30am yesterday and it's not even in their system.
 
I spoke to OB today and they told me that their policy is that the case generally leaves their warehouse within 72 hours.....my response naturally was "That is some BULLS**T" cause I was expecting to have my case within 72 hours
