Oft-delayed phone? Random speculation? snippets of actual info? "walked into VZW and spoke to a sales rep" stories? Did I step into a time machine or is this my home from 10 months ago? Looks like I found a new hangout ;)

There are no plans for OLED displays greater than 4" until later next year. Samsung's second plant still is not fully operational. Then it will be a case of tablets battling for capacity too. Of course like this year, Samsung will get first dibs ;)

i will be buying the x off ebay, saving my upgrade for the inc hd. judging by the prices of the x now, i think i can sale it for the upgradable price of my new phone next year.
i am really tired of my droid 1's loose headphone jack :(

And for the record...you were correct and Miami was wrong. The DINC HD was not coming out on the 23rd. Which brings up an interesting point. Now - I don't blame Miami as he was fed bad information (which he unfortunately had to sign a NDA for) but I really didn't like it that the site shut down the forum on the eve of the word coming out that his intel was completely 100% wrong. I felt that was not fair to those of us that camped out listening to every word coming through Miami from the VZW wreps that were jerking him around.

You have NO idea of what's gone on behind the scenes or how hard people actually work at being accurtate as possible. So don't just sit back there and say it like this...

Is it out yet NO but it is coming still. I heard q1 and Ive heard late Nov still and now early December. I haven't said cause I couldn't put it out if I did have "more of an idea"

As far as the EVO goes....It's a nice device for sure, but it's on Sprint's crappy network and the savings isn't that great on a "family" plan...and remember I have one with every other device I could have. This includes the Droid, Droid2, Droid Incredible, (loaned out for theming) Droid X, New Galaxy S tab, and the N1 and coming soon a G2 to go with them all. So don't try to convince me otherwise...

Since you have NO idea of what's gone on or what is going on maybe you should sit patient a bit. Before blasting that my contacts were wrong or that I have been given bad information.... I can speak for my self and I am completely convinced after seeing some emails and lists that things aren't always "as they seem"

also remember I do this cause I want to. Not because I owe anyone an explanation ( I actually don't) .... If you think I do or they do.....well you are the one who is really wrong..

there is a lot of posts going on in this thread lol almost like the original one we were all following.
 
OH NO! Not this again!

Didn't we all do this last year when we were waiting for the Incredible? =P

Oh well, it's a hell of a phone and this new Incredible HD looks pretty promising, especially if it packs half of what "they" say it will. I'd be willing to use my annual upgrade on it, just so long as it is more pocketable than a Droid X.

All we need in this thread is Montana Man and a box.

it's ridiculous that will be almost a year after the EVO by the time the Inc HD releases... wtf???

I'm really leaning toward an EVO or a regular Incredible off contract.. I've been following this phone for a while now, but if it won't be out until 2011, I'm going to go with something else, besides, always waiting for the biggest and best android phone is a useless task, as there is always something coming out that is bigger and better. And I gave up on following Miami and reading those forums, it sounds like a bunch of kids are running the show, glad this place is more sane! :D

no offense its just more cryptic speculation though. I thought the 23rd release might have happened but now that we know that is off the table i really dont even care to speculate. when it happens and we have something in writing i will believe it. until then, oh well

Actually you'll probably have till January 15th to return the phone , usually the return policey is extended that's how mine was last year with Verizon
