Ordered mine the day I got the email & they still haven't "processed" my order. Of course they took my money right away!
But... I'm sick of replacing my broken Sedios and the Otterbox I had w/my Blackberry was indestructible!
I LOVE the "spare tire" look. Nothing I hate more than a petite little Cell phone that looks like it belongs in my wife's purse. This case looks like it belongs in my TOOL BOX!

Update... My order was processed today & it says "shipped" but no tracking number. Hope I'm home when it comes.

I just checked mine and its the same thing "Not Shipped" which is a little disapointing since its been three days. I'm probably looking at middle of next week at this point. Guess i'll have to keep checking the website as this is obviously the biggest thing going on in my life at the moment....not like I have a kid or anything

I actually checked later in the day yesterday and it said shipped. I also got an email around 6pm from otterbox for my credit card receipt so I guess they did ship it. There's no tracking info however.

I got a tracking number today on my invoice they emailed me today says the USPS received my package info today.

I got it in mail today...overall I like it I guess...it is BIG but I knew that already before buying it. I really thought I was buying from an american manufacture though...this shit is made in china.... **** otterbox

I ordered from Amazon with free shipping. I knew that they were taking orders even before the case was available. This price isn't even available on their site anymore. I did call them before placing the order to ask about the crazy 1 Month - 2 Month ship time, and the rep thought that was crazy as well. Now that the cases are available from Otterbox, I'll see what happens regarding the actual ship date.

LOL WHY!?!?! why not just cancel that order and order it straight from otter..it's $40 ...$7 more then amazon..and u get your Chinese made case in couple of days.
I got home today and the Otterbox was here. I was pretty excited but after opening the package I felt a little different. For one I thought that there were three layers of protection. Otterbox says that the screenprotector counts as one of the layers. I found that to be a little misleading. I'm gonna feel out the case but my initial impression is that I don't feel like I could throw my phone on the ground and it would be protected like the Otterbox legend goes. Maybe I was expecting too much but the case doesn't seem to be of the quality that I thought it would be. Then again maybe i'm being too judgmental too soon. I just hope it was worth the $40.

Well I was gonna do that seeing that other members have stacked promo codes and picked the case up from OB that way. First...stacking the codes isn't working, and second...I'm not so sure that I want the Defender case anymore. I guess I never gave the built in screen protector much thought until actually seeing the pics and videos that have been posted recently. I don't expect a stand alone screen protector to last forever...so I don't know why I was thinking a built in one too?

I got mine today (9 days after ordering) and my thoughts are about the same as yours. The clip holster is a POS compared to the Ruggeds holster,phone is loose in it,and I had to remove the screen protector as it was causing the "oil slick effect" on my screen. I think my Limited Active case provides as much if not more fall protection and the Rugged beats it by far. It is probably better as far as dust protection since the ports and jack covers close tightly. So anybody know when the Ballistic will be out?
ETA the MEMUEVO code was only good for 5 days from release.

Well after some thought, I just canceled my order with Amazon and decided to wait for the Ballistic case to hit the streets, and the pending reviews once it happens. No interest in wasting $40-$50 on a case only to decide I would've been happier with something else.

Don't let the negative comments stop you. I've had it for a couple of days and the more I use it the more I like it.
I just received my defender case...
I would definitely recommend waiting for the Ballistic case if you're wanting a protective case. The Defender case is okay...but...from what I've seen of the Ballistic case is more secure...and seems to be a better product. I will stick with my Commuter Series for now.

I'm more concerned about the silicon outer case being a link magnet. I've been using the Body Glove case since I picked up my Evo and I'm used to just tossing it in my pocket. What I like from what I'm seeing with the Ballistic case, is that it appears to provide adequate enough protection without needing to use the outer silicon portion. So I may be able to still throw my phone in my pocket. My mind's not made up by any means...

I've been using it since Friday and I don't really see any lint on the silicone but I have been noticing a bit accumulating in the open front and back speaker openings. They really should have thought if a way to enclose the speakers like they did all the other ports. I see regular dissassembling and cleaning in my future.

I don't think the Defender is a bad case...I just don't have the funds to buy two cases because I made a poor first choice. So I'm just trying to stay patient...

I hear ya but knowing me I'll probably be getting the ballistics case too as soon as it's out. I'm really digging the red one! Plus I like the fact that I'll have a few choices to protect my pride and joy.

Something I forget about most of the time...if I trash my phone, I get a new one for $100 with the Sprint protection plan. So it's like, where do I draw the line regarding how much I'm willing to spend on a case or cases???
